Want to know all of the Disney Live Action Remake Movies ever made? I got tired of searching for all of the Disney Live-Action remakes online so I made my own list. Grab the full list of All Disney Live Action Movies in Order based on their remake release date. May contain commissioned links.
All Disney Live Action Movies in Order List
Let’s be honest, I’m making this list for me.
It’s hard to believe that the trend of Disney live-action remakes is still a THING – but here we are. Thanks to the 2010 live action Alice in Wonderland‘s huge profit margin of over $1 billion (which sorry not sorry, it’s meh…), Walt Disney Studios keeps on pumping out this insane amount of live-action remakes, adaptations, and reimagined films.
Instead of struggling to Google every single Disney Live-Action film in existence, I’ve decided to keep an ongoing list as a reference for me for you.
This exhaustive list (yes, multiple meanings and sarcasm inserted there) includes all Walt Disney Pictures theatrical releases AND Disney+ exclusive streaming films that were adapted from old animated films (aka unlike Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers which was adapted from a television show) only. Live-action movies that did not have an original animated film to remake such as The BFG or A Wrinkle in Time are not included in this list.
And because I’m a nerdy Type-A Korean mom, I have labeled all as such.
Is a free printable Disney live-action movie list on the horizon? Maybe. Leave a comment below if this is something that your family would enjoy.
But I’ll keep updating this Disney live action movie list as long as the releases keep on coming.
Did you know which Disney Live-Action film came out first? Have you seen all of the live-action adaptations? What can I say except you’re welcome…?!
