2023 Disney Movie Line Up in Release Date Order

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 | January 4, 2023 – 14 new episodes of the popular Star Wars animated series for the Lucasfilm 2nd season drops on Disney+ starting Wednesday January 4th. Starring Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, Noshir Dalal, and Wanda Sykes.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania | February 17, 2023 – In Ant-Man 3 sequel film, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to the quantum realm in the first Marvel release for 2023. Starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglass, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton and Jonathan Majors.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 | March 1, 2023 – Grogu and The Mandalorian return in all new episodes of the Star Wars live action original series on Disney+. Head writer Jon Favreau also returns, starring Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow, and Giancarlo Esposito.

Chang Can Dunk | March 10, 2023 – A Disney+ Asian American coming-of-age original film, Chang, a 16-year-old, Asian American high school student in the marching band bets the school basketball star that he can dunk by Homecoming. Starring Bloom Li, Zoey Renee, Dexter Darden, and Ben Wang.

Rennervations | April 12, 2023 – This Disney+ original four-part series that embraces Jeremy Renner’s lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs. 

Disney’s Peter Pan & Wendy | April 28, 2023 – Another live action remake of the 1953 classic animated film Peter Pan, this Disney+ original film is directed by David Lowery. Starring Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Molly Parker and Alan Tudyk.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 | May 4, 2023 – This Star Wars animated short film series returns to Disney+ for a second season, featuring new stories from Chile, France, Japan, India, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, the U.K. and the U.S. in a second volume of original animated shorts.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures | May 4. 2023 – This all-new Disney Junior and Disney+ exclusive animated series follows a group of Younglings (including Yoda!) during The High Republic era on their path to become Jedi. Featuring the voice talent of Jaamal Avery Jr. and Emma Berman.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 | May 5, 2023 – In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy 3 sequel film, our beloved band of misfits must rally together defend the galaxy and protect one of their own. Director James Gunn returns, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, and Will Poulter.

The Muppets Mayhem | May 10, 2023 – The comedy series follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album.

Disney’s Crater | May 12, 2023 – A Disney+ original coming-of-age story follows a group of friends as they hijack a rover to explore a mysterious crater. From the Producers of Stranger Things and directed by Kyle Patrick Alverez, starring Isaiah Russell-Bailey, McKenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce and Scott Mescudi.

American Born Chinese | May 24, 2023 – Based on Gene Luen Yang’s groundbreaking graphic novel, this 8-episode Disney+ original series starring Ben Wang (“Jin Wang”), Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan is the story of a young man’s battle for his own identity, told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid | May 26, 2023 – A live action remake of the 1989 Disney original animated classic, Halle Bailey stars as Ariel in this musical film along with Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Norma Dumezweni, Art Malik, with Javier Bardem and Melissa McCarthy, and score by Alan Menken, the late Howard Ashman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Disney Pixar’s Elemental | June 16, 2023 – Finally, an all-new original animated feature film from Disney and Pixar. Directed by Peter Sohn, featuring the voice cast of Leah Lewis as Ember and Mamoudou Athie as Wade.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion | June 21, 2023 – In this all-new present day MCU series, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, and Martin Freeman.

World’s Best | June 23, 2023 – Roshan Sethi directs this live action coming of age comedy coming exclusive to Disney+. Starring Utkarsh Ambudkar, Manny Magnus, Punam Patel, Jake Choi, Max Malas, and more.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny | June 30, 2023 – Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero in this fifth live action-film sequel from Lucasfilm. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and John Williams also return for this exciting new adventure.

Star Wars: Ahsoka | August 2023 – Rosario Dawson (first seen in The Mandalorian season 2) stars as the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano in this original live action Star Wars series spin-off set after the fall of the Empire.

Disney’s Haunted Mansion | August 11, 2023 – In this all-new live action mysterious comedic adventure inspired by the Disney theme park attraction, mom and son enlist help of experts to rid their house of ghosts. Starring LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto.

A Haunting in Venice | September 15, 2023 – One of the few projects from the 20th Century Studios merger, this supernatural thriller based on an Agatha Christie book stars Kenneth Branagh, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dorman, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio and Michelle Yeoh.

The Marvels | November 10, 2023 – Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) aka Captain Marvel teams up with estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Jersey City’s Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) aka Ms. Marvel in this unlikely team-up to save the universe.

Disney’s Wish | November 22, 2023 – To celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Animation Studios, this original animated musical feature stars Ariana DeBose as Asha and Alan Tudyk, helmed by Frozen’s Chris Buck.

Disney Pixar’s Win or Lose | Fall 2023 – In a first for Pixar Animation Studios, this all-new original animated long-form series offers an insider’s look into the Pickles middle school softball team off-the-field. Starring Will Forte as coach.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew | TBA 2023 – In this all-new Star Wars live action series on Disney+ starring Jude Law, a group of kids lost in the New Republic era must find their way home.
