Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 | January 4, 2023 – 14 new episodes of the popular Star Wars animated series for the Lucasfilm 2nd season drops on Disney+ starting Wednesday January 4th. Starring Dee Bradley Baker (“Phineas and Ferb“), Michelle Ang (“Neighbours“), Rhea Perlman (“Cheers“), Noshir Dalal (“Red Dead Redemption II“), and Wanda Sykes (“Ice Age: Collision Course“).

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania | February 17, 2023 – In this Ant-Man 3 sequel film, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to the quantum realm marking the first Marvel release for 2023 and the beginning of Phase V. Starring Paul Rudd (“Clueless“), Evangeline Lily (“Lost“), Michael Douglas (“Romancing the Stone“), Michelle Pfeiffer (“What Lies Beneath“), Kathryn Newton (“Pokémon Detective Pikachu“) and Jonathan Majors (“Loki“).

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 | March 1, 2023 – Grogu and Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian return in all new episodes of the 3rd seasons of the Star Wars live action original series on Disney+. Head writer Jon Favreau (“The Jungle Book“) also returns, starring Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us“), Katee Sackhoff (“Battlestar Galactica“), Carl Weathers (“Rocky” franchise), Amy Sedaris (“The Boss Baby: Family Business“), Emily Swallow (“The Mentalist“), and Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad“).

Chang Can Dunk | March 10, 2023 – A Disney+ Asian American coming-of-age original film, Chang, a 16-year-old, Asian American high school student in the marching band bets the school basketball star that he can dunk by Homecoming. Directed by Jingyi Shao, starring Bloom Li in his breakout role, Zoey Renee (“Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase“) Dexter Darden (“The Maze Runner“), and Ben Wang (“Independence Day: Resurgence“).

Rennervations | April 12, 2023 – This Disney+ original four-part series that embraces Avengers star Jeremy Renner (“Hawkeye“), his collection of wheels and his lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs. 

Disney’s Peter Pan & Wendy | April 28, 2023 – Another live action remake of the 1953 classic animated film Peter Pan, this Disney+ original film is directed by David Lowery (“Pete’s Dragon“). Starring Jude Law (“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore“), Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson (“Black Widow“), Yara Shahidi (“Black-ish“), Molly Parker (“House of Cards“) and Alan Tudyk (“Andor“).

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 | May 4, 2023 – This Star Wars animated short film series returns to Disney+ for a second season, featuring new stories from Chile, France, Japan, India, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, the U.K. and the U.S. in a second volume of original animated shorts.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures | May 4. 2023 – This all-new Disney Junior and Disney+ exclusive animated series follows a group of Younglings (including Yoda!) during The High Republic era on their path to become Jedi. Featuring the voice talents of Jaamal Avery Jr. (“The Color Purple“) and Emma Berman (“Luca“). Directed by Elliot Bour (“Kronk’s New Groove“).

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 | May 5, 2023 – In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy 3 final sequel film, our beloved band of misfits must rally together defend the galaxy and protect one of their own. Director James Gunn returns, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, and Will Poulter.

The Muppets Mayhem | May 10, 2023 – The comedy series follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. Includes live action stars Lilly Singh (“The Bad Guys“) as Nora, Tahj Mowry (“Kim Possible“) as Moog, and Saara Chaudry (“Odd Squad“) as Hannah. Directed by Matt Sohn (“The Office“).

Disney’s Crater | May 12, 2023 – A Disney+ original coming-of-age story follows a group of friends as they hijack a rover to explore a mysterious crater. From the Producers of Stranger Things and directed by Kyle Patrick Alverez (“The Stanford Prison Experiment“), starring Isaiah Russell-Bailey (“Family Reunion“), McKenna Grace (“Captain Marvel“), Billy Barratt (“Mary Poppins Returns“), Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce and Scott Mescudi (“Westworld“).

American Born Chinese | May 24, 2023 – Based on Gene Luen Yang’s groundbreaking 2006 graphic novel, this 8-episode Disney+ original series starring Ben Wang (“Chang Can Dunk“) as Jin Wang, Michelle Yeoh (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings“) and Ke Huy Quan (“Everything Everywhere All At Once“) is the story of a young man’s battle for his own identity, told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid | May 26, 2023 – A live action remake of the 1989 Disney original animated classic, Halle Bailey (“Grown-ish“) stars as Ariel in this musical film along with Jonah Hauer-King (“A Dog’s Way Home“), Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton“), Awkwafina (“Raya and the Last Dragon“), Jacob Tremblay (“Luca“), Noma Dumezweni (“The Kid Who Would Be King“), Art Malik (“True Lies“), with Javier Bardem (“Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile“) and Melissa McCarthy, and score by Alan Menken, the late Howard Ashman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Disney Pixar’s Elemental | June 16, 2023 – Finally, an all-new original animated feature film from Disney and Pixar. Directed by Peter Sohn (“The Good Dinosaur” and “Ratatouille“), featuring the voice cast of Leah Lewis (HBO Max’s “Nancy Drew“) as Ember and Mamoudou Athie (“Jurassic World Dominion“) as Wade.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion | June 21, 2023 – In this all-new present day 6-episode MCU series, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls (first featured in Captain Marvel). Starring Samuel L. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny | June 30, 2023 – Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero in this fifth live action-film sequel from Lucasfilm. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and John Williams also return for this exciting new adventure in the final sequel in the Indiana Jones franchise.

Disney’s Haunted Mansion | August 11, 2023 – In this all-new live action mysterious comedic adventure inspired by the Disney theme park attraction, mom and son enlist help of experts to rid their house of ghosts. Star Wars: Ahsoka | August 23, 2023 – Rosario Dawson (“Daredevil“) (first seen in The Mandalorian season 2) stars as the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano in this original live action Star Wars series spin-off set after the fall of the Empire.

I Am Groot Season 2 | September 6, 2023 – The troublemaking twig returns to mischief in the second season of “I Am Groot,” featuring 5 new shorts, voiced by Vin Diesel (“Fast X“).

A Haunting in Venice | September 15, 2023 – One of the few projects from the 20th Century Studios and Disney merger, this supernatural thriller based on an Agatha Christie book stars Kenneth Branagh (“Murder on the Orient Express“), Kyle Allen (“The Map of Tiny Perfect Things“), Camille Cottin (“House of Gucci“), Jamie Dorman (“Fifty Shades of Grey“), Tina Fey (“Soul“), Jude Hill (“Belfast“), Ali Khan, Emma Laird (“Mayor of Kingstown“), Kelly Reilly (“Yellowstone“), Riccardo Scamarcio (“John Wick: Chapter 2“) and Michelle Yeoh (“Minions: The Rise of Gru“).

Goosebumps | October 13, 2023 – The all-new 10-part series inspired by the popular R.L. Stine book series is coming to Disney+ and Hulu, just in time for Halloween. Launching as a five-episode drop as part of Disney+’s “Hallowstream” and Hulu’s “Huluween” celebrations, with weekly new episodes. Dashing Through the Snow | November 17, 2023 – Ludacris (“Fast X”), Teyonah Parris (“The Marvels”) and Lil Rey Howery (“Free Guy”) team up for a unique and diverse spin on Santa Clause in this Disney+ original film.

Disney’s Wish | November 22, 2023 – To celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Animation Studios, this original animated musical feature stars Ariana DeBose (“West Side Story“) as Asha and Alan Tudyk (“Zootopia“), helmed by Disney Frozen’s Chris Buck.

Disney Pixar’s Win or Lose | Fall 2023 – In a first for Pixar Animation Studios, this all-new original animated long-form series produced by David Lally offers an insider’s look into the Pickles middle school softball team off-the-field. Starring Will Forte (“Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs“) as coach.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever | December 8, 2023 – Just in time for the holidays, the latest animated movie based on Jeff Kinney’s successful book series is a hilarious and heartfelt holiday tale centered around everyone’s favorite disaster-prone middle school student, Greg Heffley. Directed by Luke Cormican (“Teen Titans Go!“), the 2023 Diary of a Wimpy Kid animated film features the voices of Wesley Kimmel (“The Mandalorian”), Erica Cerra (“Power Rangers”), and Hunter Dillon (“Deadpool 2”).
