Apple Race Car Snack for Kids

What I love about this snack is how the cars stand up. Seriously, my toddler thought this was the “coolest snack ever” because it really looked like a car. Combining a delicious treat, creativity and a little motor skills activity in one, we had a blast making our very own zooming apple race cars!

What You Will Need:

  • 1 Apple
  • Toasted Oats Cereal
  • Peanut Butter (or if allergic: sun butter, almond butter, etc.)
  • Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions:

  1. Cut apple into “car shaped” wedges. (I used my apple slicer, than split those wedges in half lengthwise). The wedges should be able to stand on it’s own.
  2. Next, dip your toasted oats cereal (aka wheels) into t he peanut butter. Then secure onto your car.
  3. Finally, dip your mini chocolate chips into the peanut butter and place inside the “o” of the cereal. Now stand up your apple race car snack for a delicious and creative snack. So simple!

This Apple Race Car Snack pairs up perfectly with these Traffic Light Fruit Skewers Snack and this easy Roller Coaster Snack too. I foresee an adorable race car themed party or playdate. Don’t you?

Oball speedway toy review

I love that it’s super tall, encouraging kids to be active in play time as cars twist and turn down spiral slides, change directions, bounce, curve and ultimately engage your toddler in hours of fun.

While pictures are great, I don’t think it really gives enough depth into how much fun this speedway toy is. That’s why we made a FUN video too, so you can see exactly how much fun we’re having! The new Oball Go Grippers™ Bounce ‘N Zoom Speedway™ is available right now at Toys R Us, along with the new Oball Go Grippers toy collection: Oball Go Grippers™ Vehicle Assortment, Oball Go Grippers Loader™, Oball Go Grippers Dump Truck™, Oball Go Grippers Car Carrier™, Oball Go Grippers Race Cars™ and more. What a fun recipe and delightful toy. It’s nice to have something fun to take along to picnics and get-togethers that will keep the kids (and adults) involved. My apple slicer will make great race cars for the event.
