Directions

  1. First we will need to dye the pasta in your favorite Vespa color. Considering Alberto, Luca and Guilia’s Vespa is teal in the movie, we went for a blue color mixture. Place pasta into a small air tight plastic container. Add food coloring (we did about 4 drops of blue, 1 drop green) and 1/8 tsp. of vinegar. Shake until pasta is fully covered in desired color.
  2. Place dyed pasta on a baking sheet. Allow pasta to air dry.
  3. Once fully dry, arrange pasta shapes into a Vespa scooter as shown.
  4. Glue pasta together. Dry.
  5. OPTIONAL: Cut one plain ziti noodle into small circles to be a headlight. Glue onto the front of your Vespa.
