It was almost 3 years ago today that I traveled for my first ever Disney press trip. Ironically, it was for a little movie you may have heard of – called Guardians of the Galaxy. At the time, I was completely clueless – as in had NO idea what I was doing – how to act, how to dress, and I wince just thinking about the off-the-wall questions I must have asked with my star struck eyes. Fast forward almost 3 years and seven Disney press trips later, I am walking LITERALLY down memory lane, this time on the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Red Carpet. And that’s not all. Descendants 2

Are you rotten to the core? My nieces are most excited that we will get a sneak peek of Descendants 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular Disney Channel Original movie. Would you believe that I just saw this movie for the first time this week? Finally catching up with the craze, we’ll get to preview some of the scenes from Descendants 2 – I’m hoping for lots more songs and dances! Oh, and we’ll also be interviewing TBD cast of the movie. Say what?!

Dancing with the Stars

Guess who’s dusted offer her old dancing shoes? This girl! I’m dancing the night away with none other than the dance troupe from Dancing with the Stars: Brittany Cherry, Britt Stewart, Hayley Erbert and Brandon Strong! These four may look familiar. This quartet of talented dancers perform on every episode – from backup dancers to special dance performances, celebrities to pros – even filling in for injured dancers as needed. We’ll get to chat with these professional dancers as well as get a private dance lesson from them. So exciting!

Look for the dance troupe on Dancing with the Stars, Mondays at 8/7c on ABC. #DWTS

Born in China

One thing I’ll never tire of, pandas. Yes, we will also be screening Disneynature’s newest film Born in China, in theaters this Earth Day. If you haven’t had a chance to check out my Born in China movie review, grab the details on the story, visuals and if this movie is safe for your kids to see, all from a spoiler-free parent point of view.

Downward Dog

No, not the yoga pose. Downward Dog, the new dog-loving show on ABC. This brand-new comedy follows the day-to-day life of Nan as told by her increasingly lonely and philosophical dog, Martin. After the screening the show join us for a Q&A with Allison Toman (“Nan”) and Samm Hodges (Co-Creator / Executive Producer AND the Voice of “Martin,” the dog).

Grab a special sneak peek of Downward Dog on Wednesday, May 17th at 9:30/8:30c, followed by it’s usual time slot premiere on Tuesday, May 23rd at 8/7c. #DownwardDog

Radio Disney Music Awards

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards are coming! In anticipation of this popular music awards show, we will be treated with a special musical performance and Q&A in celebration of the 5th anniversary.

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards will take place on Saturday, April 29th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with performances by some of the biggest artists along with tomorrow’s rising stars in music. You can also catch a special two-hour telecast, “Disney Channel Presents the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards,” on Sunday, April 30th at 7/6c on the Disney Channel.
