Stained Glass Christmas Tree Kids Craft

I’ve been loving spending more craft time with my son. With the holidays coming, we got do to a fantastic Christmas Tree craft…and it didn’t cost me anything! I already had all of the supplies in the house, which made this project even better 🙂 Here’s how to make your own this holiday season:

What You Will Need:

  • Green Construction Paper
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Colored Tissue Paper – assorted colors (darker ones work best). This is a great time to use scraps!
  • Tape
  • Single Hole Punch
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Cut out a Christmas tree using the Green and Brown Construction Paper. Choose a size that works best for you. My son wanted a BIG tree…so that’s what we did 🙂
  2. Using the hole punch, punch out circles all over the tree. No need to get all perfect. Just have fun using the hole puncher together.
  3. Tape different pieces of color tissue paper to fill in the holes on one side of the tree. The holes are now your Christmas ornaments and lights!

VOILA! Tape to a well lighted window or sliding glass door so your little one can see the light peeking through the tissue all season long. HOW CUTE 🙂 *Want to Pin it? Hover over the pic above and click on the “P” to pin to your boards!*
