I made this for my daughter’s Outer Space themed baby shower! It is amazing. We tripled the batch because I had tons of premade popcorn that I got as a gift. The saltiness of the popcorn with the sweet of the candy melt is so good. I used gold stars because of our color theme but I should have stuck with the silver. We like it so much we are going to make it for our Christmas party with white candy melt all over and green and red swirls with holiday shaped cookie candy.

Oh yay! Glad you all loved it! It’s one of our favorite themed snacks
Katherine says
How hard does this get? Does it pull apart like a marshmallow popcorn ball or is it more like a popcorn bark once the candy melt sets? How long would you say the candy melt takes to set? I’m looking to make this as a decoration on a cake in an asteroid shape but would want it to curve around the cake letting it set on the empty cake tin.
christie says
Depends on the drizzle. I would say it’s slightly flexible, but it all depends on the ratio of candy melt drizzle you use.
