Our DIY Pixar Christmas Tree

Inspired by the new Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 3, I wanted to bring some of the “JOY” of Pixar into our holiday décor. Grabbing a mini Christmas tree, our Pixar Cars mini tree skirt (how cute is that?!) and these Pixar Short Films ornaments, we now have a permanent DIY Pixar Christmas Tree to smile at every season.

How cute are the ornaments that Disney Pixar sent us, by the way? You could totally make your own with a printer, string, hole puncher and laminator! Such a cute mini tree idea!

DIY Luxo Ball Tree Topper for Our Pixar Christmas Tree

Our first Disney Christmas Tree? Sign me up. Our Pixar Christmas Tree is such a special edition to our home this season and really encompasses our family’s love of everything Disney Pixar. With a mini tree, a few special Pixar ornaments (all from the new short films collection!), and this DIY Luxo Ball Tree Topper, we proudly display our little magical tree just in time for the holidays! Ready to make your own?

What You Will Need:

  • mini gold tree ornament (go for matte or shiny instead of glitter)
  • red construction paper(or red scrapbook paper)
  • mini star paper punch
  • glue
  • blue glitter glue
  • ornament hook

Directions:

  1. Punch out your little red star out of your red paper. Glue to center of ornament (not where the seams are).
  2. Following the seam of the ornament, use your blue glitter glue to make a small even blue line along the seam. Dry.
  3. Turn ornament upside down and add your ornament hook. Wrap and affix to the top of your Pixar Christmas Tree. So cute, right?

    Ok my youngest says legend of Murdo? And olaf. Unfortunately I dont get the chance to watch a lot if these movies so he told me what and why we want to win it would be extra excited about. Ty
