Stained Glass Christmas Tree Kids Craft
I’ve been loving spending more craft time with my son. With the holidays coming, we got do to a fantastic Christmas Tree craft…and it didn’t cost me anything! I already had all of the supplies in the house, which made this project even better 🙂 Here’s how to make your own this holiday season:
What You Will Need:
- Green Construction Paper
- Brown Construction Paper
- Colored Tissue Paper – assorted colors (darker ones work best). This is a great time to use scraps!
- Tape
- Single Hole Punch
- Scissors
Directions:
- Cut out a Christmas tree using the Green and Brown Construction Paper. Choose a size that works best for you. My son wanted a BIG tree…so that’s what we did 🙂
- Using the hole punch, punch out circles all over the tree. No need to get all perfect. Just have fun using the hole puncher together.
- Tape different pieces of color tissue paper to fill in the holes on one side of the tree. The holes are now your Christmas ornaments and lights!
VOILA! Tape to a well lighted window or sliding glass door so your little one can see the light peeking through the tissue all season long. HOW CUTE 🙂 *Want to Pin it? Hover over the pic above and click on the “P” to pin to your boards!*
