Easy Candied Bacon Recipe with Peanut Butter Drizzle
It’s bacon. So it has to be good.
I have been dreaming of doing a candied bacon recipe for awhile now, ever since I had my first bite over a year ago. So today, in honor of delicious bacon everywhere, I bring to you my Easy Candied Bacon Recipe with Peanut Butter Drizzle. The combo of sweet, salty, and a hint of spice…oh, so good!

Oh, I can just look at this pic all day. Bacon, so good, so heavenly….I wish I could eat it at every meal! But when splurging time comes around this sweet and salty dish will definitely wow your crowd (or maybe just you).

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. of bacon, uncooked
- 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- pinch cumin
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
Drizzle Ingredients:
- 1/4 c peanut butter or peanut butter chips, melted
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
- 2 tbsp milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Move rack to the top position in the oven.
2. On a large baking sheet, cover with aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray.
3. Line bacon in a single layer on the baking sheet (2 sheets may be necessary).
4. In small bowl, combine sugar and spices until well mixed.
5. Place generous even layer of sugar mixture on top of each bacon slice. Sprinkle any extra on top of bacon slices.
6. Bake in top rack of oven for 15-20 minutes (depending on thickness of bacon), or until bacon is crispy.
7. Immediately remove bacon from baking sheet and blot with paper towel. Transfer to cool in single layer on a plate.
8. Meanwhile, heat peanut butter in small microwaveable bowl for 30 seconds. Add agave syrup and milk until thinned. Quickly drizzle peanut butter mixture on top of bacon slices. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store remaining in tightly sealed container.

Okay, you had me at candies bacon but then you WOW’d me with the peanut butter drizzle. I would have never thought about that combo, but it IS two of my favorite things. Of course, it’s gotta be delish!!!!!
