Tips kids wardrobe on a budget

Tips for Stylish Kids on a Budget with Garanimals

I am a sucker for cute kids’ clothes. You would think I’d have my urges to buy the latest kids’ trends under wraps after having my 2nd child….but it gets worse. The baby girl comes along and well, I’m now a proud owner of a wardrobe of adorable girly cuteness. Having the latest styles for your kids is possible on a budget. So what’s my secret? Here’s my 7 best tips for stylish kids on a budget.

1. Go For Durable Comfort

Style on a budget means having clothes that are going to last. Choose kids’ clothes that are going to extend beyond playground exploration, running in the park and soccer with dad. Pick out breathable fabrics like cotton and jersey. Make sure the clothing fits properly.

2. Style For All Seasons

A trendy kids’ wardrobe doesn’t need to Choose classic pieces that can stay with your child through more than one season. Think sports, polka dots, dinosaurs, animal prints and more that span beyond the latest kids’ craze.

3. Mix and Match

Making a stylish wardrobe for your baby or toddler doesn’t have to be extensive. Having a shirt that only matches one pair of pants limits your wardrobe. Choose mix and match pieces for endless style combinations.

4. Stock Up for Next Year

Clearance, clearance, clearance. One of my biggest tips for style on a budget for kids is to grab next year’s clothing at the end of the season. For instance, right now the latest fall trends are coming out. Now is the time to buy your child’s summer style for 2015!

5. Room to Grow

Kids grow so quickly, don’t they? It can be tough at times to keep up. Make sure your child can get more than one wear out of an outfit. Go a size bigger if possible. Look for adjustable waistbands. Pick out dresses that could also make cute tops over leggings as your child grows.

6. Accessorize

Just like adults, a little bling can totally change the outfit. Think scarves for fall, necklaces, sunglasses, vests, jackets, hair ties and shoes to completely transform your outfit.

7. Low Everyday Prices

A stylish baby and toddler wardrobe doesn’t have to break the bank! Look for great styles at everyday low prices, like Garanimals. Garanimals clothing is carefully designed to provide babies and kids with affordable fashion and comfort while guaranteeing quality, value, and ease of shopping to parents. Can you say a parent’s dream come true?

Garanimals provides the latest trends for the season, available in sizes from newborn to 5T for your little ones, exclusively at Walmart. Micro fleece hoodies for under $7, pants for under $5, shirts for under $4! Yes, these are the current prices of the Fall 2014 collection.

Kids are constantly growing…and fast. But your budget can stay on target with the comfort and style of Garanimals at Walmart!

These are great outfit ideas. I love to save money on kids clothing since they outgrow it so quickly.
