Love Disney & fashion? Get inspired by Carl, Ellie & Russell in this easy Pixar Up Disneybounding outfit idea on a budget – stylish and subtle but a perfect nod to my favorite Disney Pixar film! May contain commissioned links.

Pixar Up Disneybounding | Disney Style Is Out There

Adventure is out there!

I love when I can combine two of my favorite things: Disney and fashion. Up is one of my favorite Disney movies ever (remember this Disney Up party?). So when a visit to Pixar Animation Studios was on the #Incredibles2Event agenda, I knew I needed a stylish outfit to match. But knowing that I didn’t want to dress up as an old man or a very brightly colored girl scout for my first Pixar visit (hey, we had to keep things professional still, alright?), I combined a few BOLD patterns to create a more subtle Pixar Up Disneybounding look.

I know, it sounds crazy. But trust me, this outfit was “UP” when it came to Disney style and perfect for any body type. Ready to explore?

My Pixar Up Disneybounding Wilderness Explorer Look

Creating a Pixar Up Disneybounding outfit worthy of a fashionista for under $50 – I had a big challenge ahead of me. If you know me at all, I hardly ever…EVER mix patterns or similar colors. So combining two bold pattern choices and two blue colors in one Disney outfit? I was worried.

But fashion is always about taking that next bold step – so taking a few cues from Up (“adventure is out there”) I bought, packed and flew across the country with my Wilderness Explorer look. No turning back now.

A Disney Tee

I started with this Wilderness Explorers T-shirt. Fitted, super soft cotton, and a very subtle logo – this tee is perfect for everyday wear or dressing up or down for Disney park visits. I love that I will get many more uses out of this new addition (even jammies – I don’t judge).

My Bold Skirt Choice

The tee was the easy choice. What to pair the shirt with – I sat on this for a few days. A-line skirt seemed like a logical decision, but I knew I would need a really bold pattern to pull this look together. After picking out this pineapple skirt for my Disney Cruise Disneybounding look (a post I’m still working on – I know, I know), I went back to this skirt to look at a few more patterns. That’s when this A-line bird skirt stood out to me. I loved it. Says Wilderness Explorer, don’t ya think?

Accessories

My boots were a must – rugged yet stylish. I layered some wood bead and jade bracelets and topped off with this feather leather bracelet (similar bracelets here). Birds and feathers, get it? Braided hair finished off the look.

What I Wish I Had

Running out of time (aren’t I always?), I was still hunting for the perfect jean jacket to add to this outfit. I would have layered a fitted jacket on top, added this Ellie badge grape soda pin and completed the look. Those that have the perfect denim jacket, please send me your recommendations. I’m still on the hunt.

A fitted Disney tee, a bold patterned skirt, and a few accessories from home, I’m really happy with how this Pixar up Disneybounding outfit came out. You’d better believe, I will be wearing this Disneybounding look again and again at Walt Disney World too. And for under $45, who can resist this fun and whimsical take on Disney Pixar’s Up? Yup, my Disney wardrobe is expanding – or at least looking up. 🙂

This whole look is just perfect and it is making me so excited to go to Disney! We are going for the Merry Christmas Party so I want to get a holiday look that doesn’t scream holiday.
