I’m Going to LA! Disney, Marvel, DreamWorks, ABC Family and ME! #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyEvent
I read the email and thought Disney must have been mistaken. Then I reread the email, checked the “To” line and saw my name. Nope, Disney actually sent this to ME. I’ll be honest. I cried. For the first time in my blogging history, Disney invited me to come to LA for an exclusive blogger press junket filled with summer blockbuster fun. Disney thinks my blog is worthy to cover some of the hottest summer movies and shows from Marvel, DreamWorks and ABC Family. I’m still in shock. Someone pinch me.
The email was then followed by this much excitement {INSERT crazy up and down jumping, screaming, and many Oh my goodness-es}:
One of my blogging dreams is coming true. I’m going to LA to for a Disney Press Junket. From July 16th – 19th, I’m heading to Los Angeles, California with 24 other amazing bloggers for 4 amazing days filled with Disney, Marvel, DreamWorks and ABC Family sneaks, interviews and surprises! I don’t have full itinerary details yet, but here’s what I do know…
Our 4 days are going to be filled to the brim with awesomeness. We will attend a special screening of the HOT Guardians of the Galaxy Movie have interviews with cast and filmmakers (opening in theaters August 1st)! We don’t know who it will be yet….but Chris Pratt and Bradley Cooper wouldn’t be bad eye candy choices for excellent commentary (hint, hint)! We will attending a special advance screening of The Hundred-Foot Journey Movie (opening August 8th) from DreamWorks. We will get to meet actor Manish Dayal and also attend a special cooking lesson at the World Famous Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles! Let’s hope I don’t set the place on fire! 🙂
Talk about special screenings, we will get a SUPER early preview of the new Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Movie (opening October 10th) and preview footage of the fall Disney animated release of Big Hero 6 (opening November 7th) and Q&A with the filmmakers. Isn’t that exciting? I know, my schedule is filling up very fast!
And seriously if all of that FUN isn’t enough, we’ll be heading off to ABC Family portion of the trip. We get to walk onto the set of the new summer series Mystery Girls (premiered June 25th, next episode July 7th at 8:30 pm EST), observe production and MEET Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth. Anyone else having 90210 flashbacks? How awesome would it be to get a selfie with these ladies? 🙂 There’s some ABC Family surprises in store regarding the new Young & Hungry show starring Emily Osment (premiered June 25th, next episode July 7th at 8 pm EST) too.
Ok, so that’s all I know for now. 4 glorious days of whirlwind Disney action as I prepare for one of the most exciting moments in my blogging history. I’m excited. I’m nervous. I might pee my pants. But stay tuned as I reveal more great trip details and posts about this once in a lifetime experience.
