SHHHH! I promise not to tell the kids if you won’t. Deal?

It’s the holidays which means I am pulling out all of my favorite holiday treats this season, with zero guilt. Ok, maybe not zero….more like 0.0001% guilt. Anyway, what holiday treat gives me all of the Christmas-y feels? Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshakes. Don’t laugh. I’m a Florida girl. We require cold beverages in December, yes we do. But my kids on the other hand, they don’t need to be indulging on all of the extra sugar, candy and sweets.

Where do I find the balance without being a Grinch? This Hidden Veggie Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake. Best of Christmas, a dash of mom sanity, and happy kids – ’tis the season! Grab this mom-made and kid-approved recipe for the holiday season. And see that mom guilt melt away. (Melt, get it??)

Who knew that the minty green color of your child’s shake is NOT artificial after all? Uh-huh, speak to me. Now don’t knock this milkshake recipe until you try it. If I could fool a 3-year old picky eater, there’s no telling what this milkshake can do for you too.

Think those delicious chocolate mint candies – but better for you! Ready to take your holiday treats up to the next level? Here’s the recipe:

I always make shakes for my son and i for breakfast and he loves fruit so much. I sneak kale and spinach in there sometimes and he doesn’t even know. He loves and it and its so good for him. I would love to try this with mint chocolate chip.

That is so great! Getting veggies into the kids can be difficult. This will make it a lot easier on parents trying to get anything green into their kids.

That’s a great way to hide veggies! My kids also love smoothies and shakes and it’s good to be able to sneak in some veggies that they deliberately try to avoid!

Thanks for sharing- one of my kids immediately turns up her nose at any green vegetables so maybe this will do the trick.
