3 Top Florida Prepaid Myths | 2018 Promo Code
This past weekend, my family visited Pandora, The World of Avatar. After riding the rides and being swept up in a world of floating mountains, blue people and glowing flowers, at the end of our day I noticed that my son had a confused look on his face.
“Is Pandora a real place?”
He’s so sweet, innocent. At 9-years old, I still catch glimpses of his child-like tendency to believe – just because it looks like reality to him.
“It’s not real, but it certainly feels real, doesn’t it?”
In a way, we all grow up believing certain myths to be our reality. When it came to choosing the right college plans for my kids, I definitely had some preconceived beliefs. As we close in on the last few weeks of Florida Prepaid’s Open Enrollment period, I want to take the time to dispel the 3 Top Florida Prepaid Myths so you can make the best possible decision for your child’s future. Because I thought the myths were true too. Get the facts, scroll down and get your exclusive 2018 Florida Prepaid promo code for extra college savings, and make that important decision for your child’s future. Now is the time.

Myth: Florida Prepaid College Plans can only be used in Florida
Fact: Your Florida Prepaid Plan isn’t restricted to Florida schools. The amount covered by your Prepaid Plan can be used at any college nationwide. Just because the plan name says Florida, doesn’t mean it needs to stay in Florida.
Myth: Florida Prepaid can only be used if my child stays a Florida resident.
Fact: If the beneficiary (aka your child) moves out of the state after purchasing a Prepaid Plan, your child would still be billed at in-state tuition rates when using their plan at a Florida college or state university.
Myth: If my child doesn’t go to college, I lose all of the money that I invested.
Fact: If your child doesn’t go to college, you can change the beneficiary of the Prepaid Plan or get your money back. Not going to lie, that was my biggest fear. You finally commit and make the big decision to invest in your child’s college education – only to see that money potentially disappear down the road. But that money is secured.
