What If I Could Change the Conversation? #WaterWipes

What If I Could Change the Conversation? #WaterWipes. I participated in an Ambassador Activation on behalf of Influence Central for WaterWipes. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

What if I could change the conversation

What If I Could Change the Conversation? #WaterWipes

No.

Stop.

Don’t touch that.

Don’t eat that.

Don’t pick your nose and eat that.

I have a 2 year old. And these days, it seems like I’m doing most of the talking. As the power struggle of the Terrible Twos Saga continues, I find myself as the “villain” in my daughter’s story. Another Mom fail, right? But then WaterWipes asked me to Change the Conversation. What does my beautiful 2 year old have to say to me these days? What would she say, if only I’d take the time to listen?

Waterwipes for moms

So we sat over tea – well a plastic tea set and a gathering of stuffed animal friends…you get what I mean. And for change, I just listened. It was fascinating.

She told me about about the delicious pizza and doughnuts we HAD to have with our tea.

She told me how much she missed her brother while he was at school.

She told me about her pretty dress and her pretty hair and her pretty nose and her pretty toes…..What can I say? I tell her she’s pretty all of the time 🙂

But it was in those quiet moments while we sipped our tea (pinkies up, of course), that she leaned over and gave me that unprompted “I love you, Mama.” It was if she was telling me “Thanks for listening. I really just wanted to talk to you.” And it was exactly what I needed to hear. These moments are so precious. At 2 years old, this girl has a beautiful personality and a beautiful soul…and I will miss seeing her grow if I’m doing all of the talking all of the time. So it’s time to turn off the TV and the phone and the computer and my mouth and just spend these moments with her. I don’t want to miss a single moment of her last days as “my baby girl.”

Motherhood is messy. There will be times when you want to break down and cry, pull out your hair, and eat your way into chocolate coma. But there there are those moments when the rest of the day melts away and your child tells you that 100% innocent and sincere “I love you.” And all is right in the world again. The newest WaterWipes video highlights exactly what motherhood is. It’s messy. It’s crazy. It’s beautiful. Does someone look familiar on this video? Yes, that is me sharing my messiest diaper change EVER at the 22 second mark. Oh, the memories!

Waterwipes review for toddlers

Being a WaterWipes mom for the past few months has been incredible. From sharing our sensitive skin story with other moms, to hosting an amazing messy play date, or just everyday diaper changes, WaterWipes has been there for our messiest moments. Most importantly, WaterWipes has allowed me to have just a few more moments with my daughter. Why? Because these chemical free baby wipes are amazing. With no harmful chemicals and only 2 ingredients – 99.9% purified water and 0.01% grapefruit seed extract – I know that am providing my child with the safest baby wipes out there for her delicate baby skin. You can pick up WaterWipes at your favorite WaterWipes retailer for all of your messiest motherhood moments.

“Mom, I poop.”

My baby girl is talking to me again (can we have another “Change the Conversation” about the potty training thing soon?). But for all of her messiest diaper changes, I wouldn’t give up these days with her for anything. Motherhood is messy, but 100% worth every moment.

I love that video!!! War paint, oh how I’m thankful I can’t empathize with that. I have, however, cleaned up many a disgusting mess thanks to WaterWipes. We LOVE them at our house.

These sound like a great brand of wipes. I have a teenage son and it seems like right now I am lucky if I get a yes or no answer.

It’s so fun what you can learn from your kids if you just LISTEN. I had a one on one day with my daughter and let her lead. At the end of the day, I was rewarded with “You’re the best mom ever!” These wipes sure do come in handy for those messy life moments!

In a world driven by technology and constant hustle and bustle, I love that you shut out the world and let your daughter lead the conversation. My children may be older but I think every parent could stand to be reminded that their kids always have something to say.

I will be looking for this brand of wipes. It’s always bothered me how many chemicals are in the handi-wipes and baby wipes that I buy. I like that these just have purified water and grapefruit seed extract in them.

It is amazing what you can hear if you just listen. I used to have tea parties with my Daughter when she was little. They really grow up so fast.
