6 Ways to Celebrate #MLPFriendshipDay | My Little Pony
Everyday is Friendship Day. One of the most important things I can teach my children in this lifetime is friendship. Friends are such a crucial part about growing up. That’s why I’m partnering with My Little Pony! Today, July 30, 2015 is MLP Friendship Day! Today we’re celebrating everything that makes friendship wonderful with a few creative ways to celebrate (and give back!) to make a positive difference in this world. Check out how YOU can spread the friendship love today with your kids and enter the FUN My Little Pony Giveaway!
The My Little Pony Website has so many awesome ways to show friendship to our world. From small things like conserving energy to giving to your local homeless shelter, there’s definitely an activity that your family can get involved in TODAY! With My Little Pony friend encouragement, My Little Pony Friendship Rewards and a helpful Friendship Meter, your kids will feel so much more motivated to do more! Check out some of my favorites:
1. Magic
Share the Magic of Education by reading together or starting a book collection.
2. Kindness
Show Kindness to your pets and animal friends by learning about pet adoption, or snuggling with your pet!
3. Honesty
Be a friend to the environment today by learning facts about keeping our planet healthy and participating in a playground clean up day!
4. Loyalty
Help sick children by making a special card for kids in the hospital, learning about hand washing and more!
5. Generosity
Share the friendship love with your community today! Create your own sharing jar and learn more about what it means to be homeless.
6. Laughter
Brighten a family’s day today by starting your own food collection drive and find out more about what makes a healthy meal.
Thanks to the inspiration of #MLPFriendshipDay, we’ve already started a Sharing Jar, started a book collection for our church and brought some home baked banana muffins to our neighbors! Be sure to check out the MLP Friendship Day website for more ideas to get involved!
