Handprint Footprint Valentines Kids Craft
While I’ve never been much for the Valentine’s Day holiday (not the lovey dovey PDA kind of gal), I have to say that things have changed so much since I became a mom. What would normally be a pass over kind of day has turned into a full blown day of hugs, kisses and sweet homemade kids gifts. Ironically, I have to admit, I truly LOVE this holiday now. (Not a pun, I promise.) So it’s no wonder that the first Valentine’s Day as a mom of two kids would need to be extra special. I just needed something sweet and simple to mark the occasion.
So you guys know how much I love handprint and footprint art! I did this cute Valentine last year with my babies. The hands from my son and the footprints from my baby girl – it’s a keepsake from the holiday that I will definitely hold onto for many years to come. Like seriously, I still have this paper tucked away in my office. I love the idea of doing one every year to keep track of how they have grown! Wouldn’t that be so sweet?
Add a frame for a fun Valentine’s gift for grandparents 🙂 They’re suckers for this kind of artwork!
It’s a super simple and unique Valentine from your family! Enjoy!
