Kid-Approved Christmas Grinch Punch
What’s green, frothy and the perfect addition to your next Christmas party?
Yup, I have all of the Christmas feels today with this Kid-Approved Christmas Grinch Punch. Can you tell what movie our family has been watching lately? Oh yes, we can’t get enough of The Grinch and all of his Christmas antics. With this movie on repeat this season, I may be up to some Christmas antics of my own – sneaky mom style! I’ve put hidden veggies inside of this healthy Christmas Grinch Punch – making this sweet drink a fantastic way for your kids to enjoy a little guilt-free Christmas cheer.
But shhhh! We don’t want to give away our Grinch-y secret, right?
I love a kids’ film has an amazing message. For me, I love that part when The Grinch goes from villain to hero, and the kids see that the “Grinch’s heart grew 3 sizes that day.” It’s a great visual image for kids – to see how much their love makes their hearts grow.
So taking a cue from The Grinch, I was feeling inspired for this little Christmas inspired drink. You only need 3 ingredients for this kid-approved punch! Here’s how to make this Grinch green, frothy, and yet delicious Kid-Approved Christmas Grinch Punch.
Kid-Approved Christmas Grinch Punch Recipe
Kid-Approved Christmas Grinch Punch
Ingredients
- Lemonade
- Fresh Spinach
- Fresh Strawberries
Instructions
- Puree fresh strawberries in blender. Pour into heart shaped ice cube tray. Freeze 2-4 hours or until firm.
- In blender, combine 1 cup of lemonade and 1/2 cup fresh spinach per serving. (For instance, 8 cups of lemonade and 4 cups of spinach). Blend until smooth - should have a fun Grinch green color!
- When ready to serve, pour juice into cup. Float one frozen heart on top.
- Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftover juice.
The sweet tartness of the lemonade is the perfect flavor to blend with fresh spinach. Plus add a fresh strawberry puree heart on top (perfect way to store your berries before they rot!), and they’ll fall in love with The Grinch all over again!

Would a measure of yogurt, maybe Greek yogurt, mix in ok—not curdle. Would add some protein.
