Scotts Bonus S Review

Scotts Bonus S for Your Florida Lawn Review

Spring is in full swing here in Florida! And we are out enjoying the Florida sunshine and entertaining in our yard. But April showers also bring lots of pesky weeds that are so hard to get rid of. Who wants a Spring party with a lawn full of ugly weeds? So excitement was in the bag of the new Scotts Bonus S by Scotts Turf Builder, perfectly formulated to take care of my Florida weeds!

Scotts Bonus S has a new specially designed formula that is now safe for more Florida grasses, including St. Augustine, Bermuda and more. It’s also guaranteed to clear out some of the most problematic Florida weeds like dollar weed and clover. And with this great new formula, Bonus S controls 82% more types of weeds!

Scotts Bonus S review before

So of course, I was interested to see how the new Scotts formula would affect my Florida weeds. And trust me, I had a lot of ugly weeds to contend with. I’m embarrassed to show you this picture!

Florida weeds are so tough, because of how quickly they spread, thanks to our Florida storms. Trying to “weed” them out is just impossible. And quite a few weed killing fertilizers are NOT formulated to take care of particular Florida weeds like dollar weed and clover.

Scotts Bonus S formula in gloved hand

The new Scotts Bonus S was easy to spread. Just mow the lawn a day or two before, and place on the grass after a storm (which in Florida terms means the next day). Make sure the kiddos are nowhere near the area while you are working. With the white color, I could easily see where I had placed the formula. The bag lasted too. 1 bag easily covered over 1,000 square feet of grass. Then just wait 2-3 days for results to start peeking through. That’s it!

Scotts Bonus S review after

I couldn’t believe how quickly my weeds started disappearing. Then I couldn’t believe how much better my grass looked! So all of this hard works means it’s back to playtime and Spring parties in our backyard! No more pesky Florida weeds to contend with! Scotts Bonus S makes it easy to get rid of those tough weeds, like dollar weed and clover, guaranteed! It worked for us!
