9 Road Trip Essentials | Saying Goodbye to Motion Sickness

The Grand Canyon. A vast space of beautiful wonder, filled with adventure, exploration and memories.

Grand canyon

Isn’t this picture breathtaking? My boys just got back from a wonderful trip to the West Coast and guess what was the first thing that they told me when they got back. “Mom, we are so glad you weren’t there. You would have been so car sick.” Ugh, motion sickness, the bane of my existence. I don’t want to be labeled as the “car sick parent” anymore. So today, I’m sharing my 9 Road Trip Essentials for the Motion Sickness Prone Adult, and how I’m finally saying goodbye to motion sickness.

53% of women miss out on road trips due to motion sickness. I’m raising my hand to that statistic. I’ve missed out on so many amazing road trips with my family, all due to motion sickness. It’s a horrible stigma to have. And I don’t just get sick. I get beyond green, held up by a tree, and holding my hair back in the bushes sick. And I’m the one driving. Winding roads, mountain elevations, even bends in our Florida roads make me sick. And the one thing I would love to do on car road trip? Read. I’ve yet to be able to read a book on a long drive.

Dramamine non-drowsy naturals review

I took Dramamine often for our long road trips. It was my motion sickness best friend. But even the lesser drowsy pills would make me so tired. I would still miss important road trip moments. So when I heard about the new Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals, I was 100% on board. The power of Dramamine plus the non-sleepy effects I wanted? I couldn’t have asked for better. AND, the new Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals provides so much more:

  • It’s the FIRST Non-Drowsy product from Dramamine
  • Contains the full clinically tested ginger dosage demonstrated to relive and prevent nausea and vomiting related to motion
  • Provides fast relief for Nausea and Vomiting, the most common symptoms of motion sickness
  • Also prevents nausea, dizziness, vomiting and queasiness
  • Safe to use everyday, since it’s made from natural ginger
  • Available in a 129count travel via or 369count box

Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals should be taken at least 30 minutes before starting an activity or as soon as you experience symptoms to help prevent or relieve the nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness. Safe to use on children and adults ages 6 years and up. Check out this YouTube video to see how new Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals provides traveling relief for you!

Family hiking

I just take 2 pills before we head out for our summer adventures, and I can have full motion sickness relief all day. The best part? Since it’s all natural, I’m not drowsy or missing out on any important family memories, like our recent road trip to a secluded hiking area! All of those twists and turns in the road didn’t stop us from a full afternoon of exploring!

Hiking family

With new Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals, I can sit in the car and read a book, for the first time in years…fully awake! What a difference! As much as I have always relied on Dramamine for my motion sickness problems, this has to be by far the best product they’ve created. I look forward to many more non-drowsy and motion sickness free moments with my family and certainly more road trips. We had a great time hiking as a family, thanks to Dramamine! Now, who wants to road trip with me to the Grand Canyon?
