It wasn’t me!

I didn’t break the internet, but I know someone who did. Every Disney red carpet event is different but this one was WRECKED – in a good way! Hello, comfy princesses! Seeing Mulan back on the big screen – immediate inspiration. I love that our group of ladies thought of Disney Bounding on the red carpet as the princesses. High fashion + Disney fashion = ALL OF THE YES! But unfortunately, my usual red carpet designer couldn’t come to the rescue. I had to actually SHOP – and it was a nightmare. Using Mulan’s new look as my inspiration (have you seen that new red and gold jacket?!) and 25 red dresses later, I found a winner. Red dress, gold “dragon skin” heels, Mulan purse (This accessory came in handy later! Scroll down for the story!), and this dragon ear cuff for a nod to Mushu – loved rocking my favorite Asian princess on this epic night!

Ralph Breaks the Internet World Premiere

Blue carpet, internet wires overhead, and a sea of celebrities and movie lovers. It’s a Disney movie premiere unlike any other.

And just like the internet, walking this red carpet was fast paced, adrenaline rushed and full of unforgettable memories.

The After Party Vibes & My Fan Girl Moment

I’ve never been to a Disney movie premiere after party before. So to be honest, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. There were tons of photo ops right when we got in the door.

The actual Sugar Rush game console (minus the broken steering wheel, of course).

Not going to lie, I love celebrity stalking – if even from afar. The thought of being in a room with some of the most iconic people in Hollywood and Disney movies was incredibly inviting. Because I’m not the selfie girl. But mustering up some courage (deep breaths!) and having a total fan girl moment – I’d have to say my first after party was a huge success. Please excuse the horrible lighting photos. You know how parties go – mood lighting.

Other notables that I saw (but was too afraid to ask for photos) include John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Alan Tudyk, John Hamm, Auli’i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Paige O’Hara (voice of Belle), Irene Bedard (voice of Pocahontas) and…

in total fan girl moment I got to meet Ming-Na Wen. I was too scared to even approach a conversation with her. So I meekly just held up my Mulan purse so she could see it.

“WOW, I love it! Ok, let’s get a photo!”

Totally made my night. My childhood iconic princess – I’ll never forget it!
