Outback Viera Now Open | New Design, Familiar Food

A little bit of Australia in Florida? Yes, please. A delicious steak is only a few steps away from one the hottest spots in Brevard County. Outback Steakhouse is now open in Melbourne, Florida – right in the middle of the action at The Avenue Viera and the Viera Shops. Take a sneak peek inside the newest Outback Steakhouse design – only 1 of 2 in the country right now, details about the brand new location, plus some drool worthy food pictures. There’s never enough of those.

They had me at “steak.” There are days when I don’t even want to mess with Orlando traffic. Fortunately, I have family that lives close to the beach over in Brevard County. We find our family visiting often to the east side of the state, making stops at The Avenue Viera, one of my favorite outdoor shopping and dining areas in Melbourne. It’s no wonder that this hopping area now has an Outback Steakhouse. I mean, why wouldn’t you?

It’s no surprise that our family found ourselves inside Outback Viera this past weekend, the newest Outback Steakhouse location in the U.S. The stand-alone location on Lake Andrew Drive (the backside of the The Avenue) definitely has its appeal – modern and open restaurant design, friendly wait staff, and of course, the delicious food that our family can always count on.

You can’t miss the open layout. Tables and booths are widely spread throughout the open floor plan, matched with colorful and modern Australian inspired artwork. I felt pretty fortunate for our family to see the new design up close.

While the place may be new, many of the staff are the same friendly folks you already know. The new Outback Steakhouse in Viera replaces the Suntree location on N. Wickham Road. Many of the staff relocated from the old Outback as well, including our server.

And let’s not forget the food. While certainly working through a grand opening and a brand new kitchen, Outback Steakhouse always delivers quality food that our family can enjoy together. Steak, ribs, seafood and more – plus a kids menu that my littles cannot get enough of!

Outback Steakhouse at Viera is now open to the public. Located at 7211 Lake Andrew Drive, Melbourne, FL 32940. Check out the new Outback Steakhouse design, friendly staff and familiar menu. Heading to Orlando? The newest location at Outback Kissimmee is the place for you!

There aren’t many Outback’s in my hometown, which isn’t far from Melbourne! i will have to swing in there and give it a try next time we are in town. This will give me an excuse to have a date night with the hubby 🙂
