The Gross Adventures of My Toddler’s Blanky & How We Found Our Happy Ending
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful baby girl. She was wrapped in a soft swaddle blanket from Day 1 – because OCD mom had a thing for swaddled babies. That baby girl grew to love that swaddle blanket, so much so that there were many, many, MANY sleepless toddler adventures together called The Gross Adventures of My Toddler’s Blanky.
It’s been 4 years and many legends added to this collection of stories, and yet no happily ever after…until today. The Gross Adventures of My Toddler’s Blanky Finally Have a Happy Ending – come read how our fairy tale finally came true.
4-years old – the crossroads between baby memories and big girl futures. Oh the adventures I could tell you – I could write volumes of books. But one collection of stories that hasn’t been told? The Gross Adventures of My Toddler’s Blanky. How deep is this girl’s love for her blanky? Deep. WAY deep.
There are the adventures of wading through that mysterious liquid on the public bathroom floor. That mystery is still unsolved. The adventures of the lunchtime stains are very colorful. Mac n’ cheese adventures are the most common. And the adventures of the missing tissue. Blanky always fills in as the understudy. Backyard adventures equals hitchhikers for days. Caught under the wheels of the supermarket cart. We don’t need to read that one again. The horror adventures don’t get told very often.
What if I told you those frayed blanky ends are from the endless hours of chewing into gross soggy bits? (Blankys have fiber, right?) The horror! Thrilling twists await when the blanky makes it’s way to the playground. Beware the slides! Brave adventures occur when blanky saves the day. Calmed babies, healed animals, flying through the sky. Those are some of my favorite stories. The scariest adventures happen after dark, when blanky gets tucked under an open mouth of drool at bedtime.
No matter how often I wash this girl’s blanky, I’m never 100% certain that it’s clean. I mean, boogers, drool and bathroom floors – OH MY! Until one day my prince came along, aka Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer. A mean clean with a gentle touch, this laundry must-have ensures that my toddler can have many, many more adventures together – minus the gross part. How can new Lysol Laundry Sanitizer save the day from the perils of germ monsters? Easily.

When you have a baby with a favorite blanket every day is an adventure, my grandson has one that goes on adventures every day. The worst is when he insists on taking in outside to put on the ground. I like that you can use the laundry sanitizer on colors.

My daughter’s lovely is a little beanie monkey. His name is Bob and goes everywhere with us! I always hate when we’re out and he travels into the bathroom with us because my daughter is quicker than me and he’s on the floor or someplace else before I have the door closed and she’s ready to go lol

Me either. ..until about a month ago. No babies or toddler’s, but my towels were smelling funky…not fresh. I saw Lysol Laundry Sanitizer advertised on tv and tried it. I am super pleased to have the funky smell removed. Those top loading washers may save energy—but they weren’t leaving my laundry smelling fresh. Try it. I think you will be pleased too.
