Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set Review
There’s some classic toys that just never get old. Imagination, engineering, and just plain old fun, Lincoln Logs having been a part of kids’ playtime for over 98 years! Rooted in my own childhood memories, these classic logs are the perfect toys to share with my family for many more generations to come. So when the BIGGEST set in Lincoln Logs history landed on my doorstep, we were so excited to discover why Lincoln Logs have stood against the test of time. I can’t wait to tell you why we absolutely love the Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set and why this will be a HOT HOT HOT toy this holiday season!
It’s honestly been years since I physically picked up and played with a Lincoln Log. A little rusty, my son and my nieces gathered for an afternoon of building fun. It’s so amazing to see that after so many years, Lincoln Logs can still put smiles on kids’ faces. the new Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set definitely did NOT disappoint. Why will this be a HOT set for the holiday season?
Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set features:
- The LARGEST set in Lincoln Logs History!
- 361 pieces
- Collector’s pieces: Frontiersman figure, buildable wagon and 2 horses
- Easy storage with included sturdy tub and lid
- Directions to build 4 buildings
- Splinter-proof, precision cut stained wood pieces
- Quality you can trust since 1916
The kids dove right into the logs. They loved the feel of the real wood pieces, with notches ready for building! We had so much fun making houses with real roofs and chimneys! The wagon, the watch tower, the barn….so much fun! I think the best part was watching the kids building the sets together. Teamwork became a strong theme in our play time, as well as sharing, critical thinking and of course, building skills. The directions were very easy to follow, so we had no problem making each of the sets. We cannot wait to get building again soon and creating some of our own houses!
It’s seriously so amazing and classic that kids STILL love Lincoln Logs. I know I was definitely immersed in building again. It’s such a mini thrill to finish a building project with them! Quality family time, fun memories, and lots of learning, the new Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set is definitely one of our new favorite toys!
