I’m Star Gazing at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Premiere + Photos #GotGVol2Event

Attending a movie premiere never gets old. From Cinderella to Finding Dory, it’s always a memorable experience full of excitement, adrenaline and stars. Oh the stars! Red carpet premieres are always unique, and Marvel spared no expense at this monumental event.

A first for me, this Marvel event had some of the best star gazing ever – so many of the best actors all in one place. Walk the red carpet with me at the most unique Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Premiere – and see all of the “stars” along the way.

It’s the sequel to the BIGGEST movie in Marvel history. It’s go big or go home. And it certainly was a grand event, with Marvel rolling out the big guns for this movie premiere.

Red carpet. Purple carpet. YES! Neon lights. Awesome Music (DUH). The Dolby Theatre (aka where the Oscars take place). And a huge guest list. Oh yes, the stars are definitely out tonight as we made our way down Hollywood Blvd. And a little “starstruck” would be an understatement for how I felt that night.

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are glowing parents. So in love.

Zoe Saldana was swishing down the carpet in this hot orange fringe dress.

Vin Diesel and his kids…so stinking cute.

Kurt Russell was grinning ear to ear with Goldie on his arm. ADORABLE.

Karen Gillan was stunning in yellow.

Dave Bautista pulled out the dapper look complete with hat a bow tie.

Michael Rooker always makes me smile.

And James Gunn has to be one of my favorite directors. He’s just so amazing and down-to-earth every time I meet him!

The stars weren’t the only ones dressed up on the carpet. I was thrilled to wear yet another amazing Lall Dass original dress on the carpet that night.

Futuristic inspired and covered in sparkle, I definitely felt like I fit in with this crowd. I paired this dress with my purse from the JCPenney makeover, Guardians cassette tape stud earrings, and nude heels.

Once inside the theater (phones and cameras confiscated), the intro for the movie could not have been more perfect. From my 2nd row seat, I watched the whole Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 gang walk on stage to a standing ovation. “Loved” and “Being Loved” were the words that stood out as James Gunn dedicated this movie to his parents – both sitting in the audience of the theater. I’m crying – and the movie hasn’t even started yet.

THAT’S ME!

And once the movie played, the excitement was palpable as celebrities and guests alike were overcome with the overwhelming-ness that is Guardians Vol. 2. Be sure to check out my full non-spoiler movie review to see if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is safe for kids to watch.

With my beautiful friend and breast cancer survivor Victoria at my side (she’s a star in my eyes too!), we had the best night star gazing and watching our movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, from the second row of the Dolby Theatre (I wonder what famous butts graced this seat before me?). It’s a memory I certainly won’t be forgetting anytime soon. And I feel so grateful to have this amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Love walking the red carpet with me?
