FINALLY! Real Bra Sizing with Aerie #AerieReal

I’ve been putting it off…and putting it off.

Bra shopping.

Please join me in the immediate ceremonial GROAN that follows that statement. It is one of my least favorite shopping tasks, and I have been procrastinating.

Don’t get me wrong, I was waaaaay overdue for some new bras. Like pre-second child pregnancy, overdue. But giving up breastfeeding of my last child had me “less than satisfied” with the results. It’s a cruel reality really. Breastfeeding goes away…and so do the “benefits.” And let’s face it. I have 2 kids. I wasn’t eager to drag them with me into a bra store. I’d be asking for a TV comedy episode!

I’m a visual person. Shopping online for bras has not convinced me to buy. Seeing the models with 32 DD chests leaves me intimated and confused. How would I know what that bra looks like on me? Wouldn’t it be awesome to do your REAL bra shopping at home? Bra shopping with pictures of REAL women, wearing your exact bra size? FINALLY! Aerie has a new bra guide ironically named “Our Most Amazing Bra Guide Ever.” I can totally see why.

There’s no more guesswork. No more detective work. I can see what that bra would look like on someone like me!

aerie-sizeHow does it work?

  1. Head to Aerie.com and choose the Bra Guide
  2. Click “Find Your Size” and enter in your bra size.
  3. Aerie immediately filters their available bras in that size, with pictures of models IN your size bra

From strapless to push up, layering and lined, there’s tons of great options. By using Aerie’s new Bra Guide, I could see exactly what those bras look like on someone like me. Within minutes, bra shopping was done. Painlessly, easily, and without the GROAN. And for a limited time, you can get FREE shipping and FREE returns on all bras. You’re guaranteed a perfect fit!

I chose the Emma and the Maddie, and these bras could NOT have come at a better time. While I sure miss those breastfeeding days, I can celebrate a new chapter in my life with these beautiful new bras from Aerie.com.

Want to join the conversation? Take a pic of yourself wearing your Aerie bra and use hashtag #AerieReal. Your untouched photo may show up on the Aerie website!

What’s your biggest obstacle when it comes to bra shopping?

Disclosure ~ I received an Aerie gift card as part of my relationship with the Quality Blue Community. All opinions expressed are my own. Be sure to follow Raising Whasians for more reviews, giveaways and more.

I need a smaller cup with larger strap size. Sounds like this is 1 stop bra shopping!

Sizing. Bras are so different in cut and fit when it comes to sizing I have to try them on first.

Sizing and comfort. It is so hard to find a good one that fits right AND is comfortable.

It really is important to get the right size or you’re not comfortable, and things look ‘off.’ I don’t think I’ve heard of Aerie until now. I like that they have models in your real size!

I hate bra shopping. Even when I find one that “seems” to fit, by the time I get it home and wear it for a day, I realize I hate how it fits.

free returns, yay! I can’t find a comfortable bra for the life of me. It’s my fault for being shaped like a squishy fluffster, but I just can’t stand bras that dig into my sides. No amount of working out seems to tone that spot under my underarms. Bra shopping, groan. Thanks for telling me about this place 🙂

what a great feature – love it. My biggest obstacle – getting to the store kidless – so I’m loving this new online feature.

I’m like in the middle of sizing. I’m wide but not busty enough.. it’s a terrible mix 🙁

Whoa, hold the phones. I didn’t realize Aerie had something like this! Let’s just say that I’ll be using this because my embarrassment knew no bounds when the sales lady at Victoria’s Secret saw my current bra situation.
