Easy Salsa Recipe for Can-It-Forward Day
Would you believe that I have been LOVING and using Ball Brand canning jars all this time for the blog from smoothies to sugar scrubs….and I’ve never canned before?
What’s a better time to get started than for International Can-It-Forward Day on August 1st! So to celebrate, I’ve made this Easy Salsa Recipe for canning, inspired by Can-It-Forward Day! And of course, scroll down for a fun Ball Brand giveaway!
I’ve always had a weakness for salsa. If it’s out, I’m eating it. The fresher, the better! But making a small puny batch of salsa just won’t do. I’d love to make a HUGE batch to last through all of my salsa cravings.

I LOVE the Ball Brand Canning Discovery Kit, the perfect starter kit for the new canner (i.e. me). Add some fun lids (don’t you love the red?) and I have enough inspiration to get moving on my own homemade salsa.

My sister LOVES canning and we used to when I was a child. But she just moved back to our state and bought a couple of cities over and started up a passionate garden. And she’s helped us start back up our old garden and add on so much to it. Our relatives, I hadn’t seen for 15 and 20+ years visited us from across the country, and we served them many dishes from our garden! (zucchini, apple, basil, other things I don’t even know th ename of!). Would be great!
Hana says
Oh, and meant to say have to decide if only had one can, but would want them of lots of our things. Strawberries we grow, raspberries (when they come back in season), mixed veggies for both step, soup, dip….
Paula Hafner says
I just canned a bunch of pickles. I plan to try to tackle pork and beans next!
