Easy Salsa Recipe for Can-It-Forward Day
Would you believe that I have been LOVING and using Ball Brand canning jars all this time for the blog from smoothies to sugar scrubs….and I’ve never canned before?
What’s a better time to get started than for International Can-It-Forward Day on August 1st! So to celebrate, I’ve made this Easy Salsa Recipe for canning, inspired by Can-It-Forward Day! And of course, scroll down for a fun Ball Brand giveaway!
I’ve always had a weakness for salsa. If it’s out, I’m eating it. The fresher, the better! But making a small puny batch of salsa just won’t do. I’d love to make a HUGE batch to last through all of my salsa cravings.

Since I’m watching what I eat I’d love to can my homemade salad dressings – I like to alternate them so I don’t get bored with salads. Also, overnight oats would be something else I’d can.

Every year I can tomatoes. We use tomatoes in so many different ways through out the year. I also can jellies (plume, blue berry, peaches, fig and whatever else I can find fresh). Lucky for us, we grow most everything we can. I usually give away at least a dozen jars of something every year to family and friends.
