Homemade Apple Cider Syrup Recipe

Perfect breakfast pancake topping or evening dessert topping, this easy homemade apple cider syrup is the perfect pairing for fall.

Course Syrup
Servings 1 .5 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 3 TBSP butter
  • 1 TSP cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until just boiling.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer 10 minutes or until liquid has thickened. Serve immediately
  • Store in airtight container in fridge up to 2-3 days

    We love breakfast casserole! It’s a recipe from my mother-in-law that has eggs, cheese, has Browns and sausage. Of course, pancakes are a huge hit, too!
