And I don’t have to beg my kids to eat it. So when pancakes moved up on the Wednesday night family dinner schedule, I knew I had to welcome fall in a delicious way. Only a few ingredients bumps your breakfast night meal from now to WOW! Here’s how to make your simple homemade apple syrup.
Homemade Apple Cider Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
- 3 TBSP butter
- 1 TSP cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until just boiling.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Simmer 10 minutes or until liquid has thickened. Serve immediately
- Store in airtight container in fridge up to 2-3 days
