Breakfast Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers Recipe
We always seem to have some leftover steak or deli roast beef in the house. Why wait until lunch or dinner to enjoy? Try these delicious Breakfast Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers and get the protein you need to take on the day.
Breakfast Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 eggs
- 4 oz. of leftover steak or deli roast beef cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup shred mozzarella cheese
- 2 TBSP of sweet onion diced
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice your bell pepper in half lengthwise (from top to bottom). Remove seeds.
- In small bowl, combine eggs, steak, cheese, onion, salt and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture into peppers.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until egg is set.
- Serve warm.
