Once a nurse, always a nurse. While I may have given up my days of 12-hour shifts at the hospital, I’m often laugh with my husband about how often I use my “nurse skillz” (yes, emphasis on the z) since becoming a mom.
With back-to-school now underway for two kids in my house, I know that Mom (aka nurse!) is going to be on high alert for this cold and flu season. I know when school is on my son will come home with something, a cough a cold or a fever that is going around. I also don’t go to the doctor unless it is necessary so I am always using over the counter meds in the fall and winter, good advice.
