How can I use a 529 Savings Plan for my child’s K-12 education? Given the current Fall 2020 school year and COVID-19 season, a 529 Savings Plan can provide savings for families choosing to do e-learning, in-person learning, combo of both and/or homeschooling for elementary and secondary school – kindergarten through 12th grade. Qualified expenses include tuition and mandatory fees associated with enrollment or attendance at an elementary or secondary public, private or religious school, up to $10,000.
