Ready to Disneybound as one of my favorite Disney villains? Here’s Yzma Disneybounding for Under $50, the perfect Disney style for less! May contain commissioned links.
Yzma Disneybounding for Under $50
Making the right statement has everything to do with the right accessories! I’ll admit that when I was invited to attend my first Disney Villains After Hours, I was DYING to do an Yzma Disneybound. She’s always been my favorite villain. And let’s face it, The Emperor’s New Groove is also one of the most underrated Disney movies too.
But then came the “cruel irony, like my dependence on you.” Amazon Prime fail. Thinking I had enough cushion built in for a few FREE Amazon shipping days (and then some), my outfit became lost somewhere in Orlando. Sadly, this look never arrived in time for the event – where I was convinced it would get some head turns if not some appreciative nods for my favorite Disney Villain.
Well, I couldn’t just let it go. Determined to give my Ymza Disneybounding style the spotlight it deserved, I dressed for the occasion anyway (full disclosure: on a NON Disney Villains After Hours Event…in broad daylight…with two children giving me multiple odd looks). But I didn’t care. Evil in all of it’s fashionable glory, my dream look for Yzma came to life.
With the right accessories and a few key staples from your closet, you have the perfect Yzma Disneybounding style for less! Perfect for a Disney event (like Disney Villains After Hours, Boo Bash, or Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party), check out how easy it was to create this Yzma inspired costume look, all for under $50!

Yzma Disneybound Look for Under $50
The outfit inspiration all started with this Purple Feather Choker Necklace. On a whim I checked Amazon for a purple feather necklace, and of course this opulent choice came up. I admit that if you didn’t know me, you might be questioning my taste in accessories. But in this particular Disney case, it was a perfect option – matching Yzma’s look from the dinner scene of The Emperor’s New Groove with the feathers coming up into her jawline. OMGoodness – LOVE!
I have to admit that finding the right shade of blue for my Yzma Disneybounding look was more challenging than I thought. Not quite blue. Not quite teal. And I couldn’t find big enough spheres to fit the look I was trying to achieve. After days of searching, I found this pair of statement blue earrings. Bold enough for an Yzma statement? Yes, yes indeed.
Headpiece, you HAVE to have an outlandishly grand one if you’re going to do Yzma any justice. Comparing the purple from her headdress to the purple of her feather choker, I opted for this purple feather headband. Super affordable (under $8 at the time that I purchased) and comfortable, this is a fun item to have in your costume stash at all times.
The Perfect Comfy Dress for Theme Parks!
After the accessories, the rest of the Yzma Disneybounding look is just a step into your closet. Add a fitting sleeveless black dress and a pair of flat black strap sandals, and you’re ready for a Disney Villains After Hours event, a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, or just a fun Disney inspired night out.
If you need a black dress, I have the perfect one for Florida summers! This black casual tank dress is an amazing option for under $20. Thick enough to not see through but thin enough for hot Florida weather, I love the incredibly soft material. Breathable, fashionable, tasteful slits up both sides, racerback and perfect length too! I have been wearing nonstop all summer long – it’s like wearing “acceptable pajamas” in public! Looking for a more authentic long Yzma inspired dress idea? Check out this long black dress.
While completely sad that I couldn’t wear this amazing look for Disney Villains After Hours, I am definitely saving for a future Mickey’s Not So Scary. Hopefully there will be a chance to wear again – maybe without so many questionable stares from my kids this time. But putting this Yzma style out into the internet, I hope this evil approved look does my favorite Disney Villain justice.
What do you think of my Yzma Disneybounding style? Am I diabolically close to her evilness
