The last time I visited Daytona Beach, I was with my husband for a romantic anniversary getaway. We loved how Daytona Beach is great for couples. While we discovered an amazing beach and ate great food, all I could think about was how we needed to take the kids next time. The Beach for Every Budget
What makes Daytona Beach different from many of the other beaches in Florida? It’s one of the most accessible beaches in the state! One of the few 24/7 open beaches with designated car parking allowed on the beach, it’s really great for families to be able drive up their vehicle and park for the day.
With 23 miles of sandy beaches at Daytona Beach, there’s definitely a wide range of places to stay for your family vacation as well. From 4-star hotels to Bed & Breakfasts, condo rentals and even campgrounds, there’s a beach for every family budget too!

The Festival Capital of the World
Bet you didn’t know this one. Daytona Beach is known as the festival capital of Florida! More than 50 festivals occur throughout the year, with plenty of sights and strolls to take in. In fact, Daytona Beach fall festivals make this one of the best times of the year to visit.
For the art lovers, be sure to attend the Halifax Art Festival in scenic downtown Daytona Beach. If you love classic cars, it’s the Daytona Turkey Run at Daytona International Speedway for sights of tons of varieties of cars. And for a bit of cultural inspiration, dancing and tasty gyros, don’t miss the Greek Festival. During the Daytona Blues Festival, you’ll enjoy a top-notch line-up for blues greats performing at historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
