What To Label for Kindergarten with Mabel’s Labels
There’s definitely things this mom needed to learn for Kindergarten. Little did I realize that 20 glue sticks, 4 packages of crayons and 4 brand new folders were going to be instantly handed over to the “community” pile on the first day of school. However, let that not drag you into despair.
There are plenty of items in Kindergarten that need to be labeled with my new Mabel’s Labels. And here are my top 5 picks!
1. The coveted pencil box
My son LOVES his new pencil box. It’s one of the few items that he really get to call his own. he picked it out himself and was so proud to put his own Skinny-Minis™ name label on it, complete with train!
2. ALL lunch gear
There’s quite a few lunch bags, lunch containers, Tupperware and drinkware that goes back and forth to school. With 15 students a lots of lunches, it’s easy for my son’s lunch to get lost in the shuffle.
By labeling everything in his lunch gear, we can make sure his containers and lunchbox come home with him everyday. Isn’t this Teeny Tags™ cute? It fit perfectly on his lunch bag zipper!
3. Those extra clothes
One of the requirements for school is to pack a bag with extra clothes in case of an accident. These Tag Mates™ can perfectly adhere to clothing so we know which clothes are my son’s!
4. Both Shoes
Labeling my son’s shoes is also important, not just for school! Just think of how many times we visit a restaurant jungle gym or go to a jungle gym birthday party or special field trip where shoes come off! Finding shoes fast for any parent, teacher, helper speeds up the process!
5. His favorite school supplies
There are special items that we let our son bring to school to remind him how much he is loved by his family. Special pencils, a little eraser, fun school supply surprises definitely become extra special with his name label on them!
