Wet n Wild Orlando Review | Family Summer Fun

With summer here in Florida, we are always looking for ways our family can “cool down” and have a great family day! I was so excited to receive the opportunity to head to Wet ‘n Wild Orlando for a great family day! One of the largest water parks in the area, can you believe that I haven’t been since I was in high school? I know, it’s crazy! There’s been so many great changes and new family attractions I can’t wait to tell you about. Hopefully this review will have your family thinking about visiting the next time that you’re in Orlando!

One of the first things I noticed about Wet ‘n Wild when we stepped in was how clean the park was. Despite lots of people enjoying a great summer day, I couldn’t find a piece of soggy trash or left behind diaper anywhere! There’s lots of huge maps around the park to direct your families where to go. And with FREE floats and life jackets throughout the park, I knew that Wet ‘n Wild had family safety at the forefront of their minds.

Looking for water slides? Well, there are plenty to go around! 13 of Florida’s BEST waters slides are right here with a little something for everyone. Want the whole family to go for a spin? There’s 2-person and 4-person as well as individual rides!

  • Bomb Bay: individual
  • Der Stuka: individual
  • Brain Wash: 4-person
  • Aqua Drag Racer – NEW!
  • The Storm: individual
  • The Blast: up to 2-person
  • The Flyer : 4-person
  • Mach 5: individual
  • The Surge: 4-person
  • Disco H2O: 4-person
  • Black Hole: The Next Generation: up to 2-person

PLUS, have you seen the new Aqua Drag Racer yet? The tallest, fastest racing attraction of it’s kind is right HERE at Wet n’ Wild Orlando! And look who conquered this one? My teeny little man LOVED this thrill ride and just made the height requirement 🙂 Check out my post on the Aqua Drag Racer, complete with video!

Water slides not your speed? Check out the Lazy River and Wave Pool Surf Lagoon. I really enjoyed getting a little sun here 🙂

breakaway-beach

Where did we spend most of our day? Breakaway Beach! This place is brand new since I’ve been to Wet n’ Wild and it did not disappoint. Sitting on over an acre of land is a 60 foot sandcastle, one of the biggest child water play areas in Florida! 15 slides, 2 splash pools and hundreds of water cannons, waterfalls, water blasters and surprises await your kids for a day of fun! Seriously, we could have spent the entire day here!

We had an amazing day and really enjoyed how much we could do together as a family. My only hope is that Wet n’ Wild will one day make a dedicated wading pool for babies. With rough waters and many kids in the Breakaway Beach area, I didn’t feel safe letting go of her hand (as brave as she is).

Now is the perfect time to experience Wet n’ Wild Orlando! With hot sunny days, yous family can enjoy cooling off at the many thrills, rides and attractions! There’s plenty of great offers available, including the Florida Resident FREE All Year Ticket and online savings when you buy your tickets in advance! Be sure to follow Wet n’ Wild Orlando via Facebook and Twitter for the latest attractions, savings and family fun!

Disclosure ~ We received free tickets to experience Wet n’ Wild Orlando for free. Though the fun family experience is free, the opinions are 10)% my own. Be sure to follow Raising Whasians via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube for Orlando tips, family travel tips and more.

I love all things Orlando! Sadly we are not water park people. We or I should say my girls and I are not swimmers.

I keep seeing all these posts for water parks and fun in the sun! I haven’t been in years and don’t even think there is one around me. I’ll have to look and drag hubby with me.

Well, we’re considering Orlando again, more towards the end of summer (we went in June) but we don’t have one thing on the itinerary. This looks like a most excellent option and I’m writing it down so I don’t forget.

There is something classically summer about a water park visit. Your photos were so vivid, I almost needed to put on my sunglasses – great job with those.
