Travel LIGHT with the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller Review. I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Urbini. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and as a thank you for participating.

Travel LIGHT with the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller Review

I used to have a FAB lightweight umbrella stroller. Then one day family came in town and needed to borrow one to go to the theme parks. Of course, we gave it up.

Then it was gone.

I had every intention of getting a new one. But two kids and not enough time in a day kept me from doing the research. And let’s face it, folks. I am pretty darn picky when it comes to buying the best lightweight stroller. I need great features and a VERY reasonable price. Well….6 months later, I’m still cruising my baby around in our heavy, bulky stroller. I know, I know…but every mom has priorities.

So ecstatic jumping up and down occurred when I heard about the new Urbini Hummingbird Stroller. This stroller is the LIGHTEST full-feature stroller on the market right now…with a total weight of under 7 pounds! That’s almost the same weight as my kids at birth.

Check out my full Video Review of the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller

Let’s check out some of the features of this brand new stroller:

  • Ultra-lightweight – under 7 lbs.!
  • One hand, self-standing fold
  • Strong, aluminum frame design
  • Multi-position reclining seat
  • Swivel, padded armbar
  • Padded 5-point harness
  • Large under-carriage basket for storage
  • High padded handles
  • Shade canopy
  • Roomy seating

This stroller was a snap to put together! Most of the stroller was already assembled. I just had to add on the wheels and I was ready to roll in less than 5 minutes. I love the sleek stylish look and our new lime green color. Isn’t it fun?

Ultra light stroller review

The best place to test out the new Urbini Hummingbird Stroller is one of the many Orlando Theme Parks! So we packed up the kids for the day and headed out to Universal. After a full day’s use, I think I had a pretty good idea about my thoughts for this review.

Urbini stroller review

Because the stroller is so lightweight, I can easily fold and unfold with one hand. This is 10x easier than my big bulky stroller! Small and compact and doesn’t take up much room in my car trunk at all. But don’t let the lightweight fool you. We banged into plenty of people and walked around for hours, but the strong aluminum frame held up with no problems! One of peeves with lightweight strollers is the teeny size or non-existant under carriage storage. The Urbini Hummingbird’s large under-carriage basket can easily store my huge diaper bag and our drinks for the day. This is fantastic!

Urbini stroller review for parents

I’m a big safety person, so I love the swivel padded armbar. Clicking our children into the stroller was not an issue. And the seat itself was very wide and roomy. This stroller could hold my 19 lb. 1-year old and my 33 lb. 5-year old! My (taller) husband loved that the push handles were high and padded. This allowed us to maneuver through the park with ease without needing to hunch over. Such a blessing for a theme park!

Urbini review

I only had a few possible improvements for the future with this one. If you’re looking for a fully reclining stroller, this is NOT it. The pull-strap in the back allow for easy multi-reclining options, but not a full flat position. There’s also no cup holders with this stroller, so you’ll need to get detachable ones for use. I really hope they consider this for the future!
