There’s a reason why Orlando is the tourist capital of the world! Orlando offers some of the best theme parks in the WORLD for your family to visit – from Walt Disney World to Universal Orlando to SeaWorld to Water Parks and so much more! With lots of great rides, amazing eats and family memories for years to come, we love taking advantage of all of the Orlando attractions that are just a short drive away!

Lake Eola/Downtown

I LOVE Downtown Orlando. Have you been? Lake Eola is definitely one of the Top Orlando Staycation Ideas for my family. Swan boat rides, picnic areas, playgrounds and wildlife sightings, Lake Eola certainly offers amazing scenery in the midst of tall skyscrapers. One of our favorite day trips, Downtown Orlando is a great family-friendly option for a staycation.

Orlando is definitely a shopper’s paradise! I should know, I’m part shopaholic. Tons of great malls (like the Florida Mall), outlets (have you been to my favorite Orlando outlet yet?) and amazing prices, you bet that I can get lost in Orlando bargain hunting for a day or five.
