5 Reasons to Eat at Outback Steakhouse Kissimmee

If my belly could do all of the talking there would be one word that sticks out. Steak. I just love a tender, juicy, well-seasoned steak. And you definitely can find the perfect steak for you at Outback Steakhouse. Celebrating the opening of the new Outback Steakhouse Kissimmee, my family was fortunate to partake of the delicious opening day. And boy were we surprised! Check out 5 reasons you need to eat at the newest Outback Steakhouse, with of course, drool worthy pictures. Then read on for an exclusive giveaway!

1. New Location

Say goodbye to West Vine Street and hello to West Osceola Parkway! The newly relocated Kissimmee location has nestled in nicely in the newly developed Crossroads Plaza. Surrounded by neighborhoods, shops and people, the stand alone building is a welcoming sight to many locals and tourists alike. To celebrate the new location, opening day was full of amazing festivities. Balloons, signs, smiling faces, you could tell that Outback really loves being a part of the Kissimmee community. The best part of the day was seeing Outback’s commitment to supporting the local community. A portion of the opening day sales (up to $5,000) goes to Give Kids the World Village, a non-profit providing children with life-threatening illnesses and their families a dream vacation here in Orlando.

2. New Design

As we pulled up to the new Outback building, you couldn’t help but notice the new look. “Modern Australia” has replaced the iconic restaurant building you know with a fresh take on Aussie design. The artwork, the woodwork, even the lighting fixtures had a cool twist. Is that a boomerang shape I see? Boasting a decor that mirrors indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia, our family settled in nicely in our comfy booth. I love that the bright atmosphere still has a comfortable family feel.

3. New Layout

Did someone say outdoor patio? The new Outback Steakhouse layout includes huge booth seating for large families, a spacious energetic new bar area with a community table (great for meeting up with friends) customized seating and furnishings, and a new outdoor dining patio.

I just loved the patio setup outside!

4. New Menu

The new Kissimmee location wasn’t only serving up a great locale. The food was right on par with the new-ness of the place. The restaurant was busy firing up the new core menu innovations, including:

Outback flat iron steak

New Wood-Fire Grilled Flat Iron Steak – one of the best steaks my husband has ever had at Outback.

Outback premium sides mac n cheese

New Premium Sides, like my delicious Steakhouse Mac & Cheese (with Gouda, garlic and breadcrumb topping), Parmesan Fries and Loaded Mash

Outback victorias filet mignon portabella

And the New Victoria’s Filet Mignon Portabella & Outback Special Sirloin Portabella, here for a limited time starting at $13.99! My steak cut through like butter and tasted ah-mazing!

5. The Same Delicious Results

While there was definitely great surprises to take in with the new Outback Steakhouse Kissimmee restaurant, there were definitely nostalgic touches of the Outback we know and love. Coming in to celebrate our son’s last day of kindergarten, we left with happy kids, happy bellies and lots of great family memories. The service, the food and the environment all had the same Outback feel that keeps us coming back again and again. And now, we have a great new location to add to our list of family-friendly restaurants.

My parents live near the Celebration resort, I believe there was an Outback a little down the street from them. Is it not there anymore? We haven’t gone to Florida in about 2 years to visit. We’ll have to seek out this one when we visit next. It looks like it has an updated, modern look.
