There are not many shows that my 7 year old boy and my 3 year old girl can agree on these days. She loves everything girly. And he loves everything with explosive action. But then there’s Peppa Pig. The hilarious cartoon show that captures your kids’ hearts with an adorable accent, fun adventures and the ever popular piggy “snort” fest – has soon become a show staple in our home. To celebrate the new Peppa Pig Summer Vacation DVD release, we hosted a fun Peppa Pig Playdate with our friends!

With only a few days left of summer, our Peppa Pig playdate was a perfect way to soak up the last bits of a great summer vacation.

We had healthy snacks – including a variety of delicious fruits and veggies, just like Peppa’s family loves to eat.

The kids enjoyed coloring with our new Peppa Pig coloring books. The twist crayons were a great touch! You can grab your FREE Peppa Pig Coloring Sheets too.

The kids loved great Peppa Pig items for Back-to-School too – lunchboxes, lunch bags, notebooks and more.

And of course the crowning moment was watching the new Peppa Pig Summer Vacation DVD, just released on August 2nd. Popcorn in hand, our kids were engaged through the whole viewing party.

With a special Peppa Pig Sunny Vacation 4-part special + an additional 8 episodes, our kids were laughing throughout the entire 12 Peppasodes. I love how Peppa Pig teaches our kids about manners, life lessons, and what to expect when traveling with your family. That’s 60 minutes of non-stop Peppa Pig fun!

Needless to say, our Peppa Pig Playdate was a huge success on a hot Florida day. And since our playdate, our kids continue to watch their new Peppa Pig Sunny Vacation DVD – all with the same hilarious results.
