Peanut Butter Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl
I honestly didn’t understand the smoothie bowl craze. I mean, why would anyone take the time to blend a smoothie and then put it in a bowl? But then I sat down and enjoyed one.
Ohhhhh.
Mixing together your own toppings the way you’d like them on your spoon, beautiful presentation, and the feeling of sitting down (since when do moms get to sit down?) to a nice breakfast. Game changer. So fall + smoothie bowl craze = this Peanut Butter Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl. Because when did this mom ever follow the smoothie bowl rules? Grab your Pumpkin Spice Latte and make this easy fall inspired breakfast.
Apples. Do I ever miss apple picking in the fall (not the walk back uphill carrying two tired children and endless pounds of apples, mind you). The crisp air, the taste of a juicy cite of an apple right off the tree. You northern folks have it made right now! I’ll have to settle in the meantime for this delicious Smoothie Bowl.
Peanut Butter Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Come sit with me, busy mom. You only need 5 minutes and a spoon to enjoy the delicious taste of Peanut Butter, Apple Pie and Smoothie all in one. Yes, yes. I thought of you.
Peanut Butter Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup of apple yogurt
- 2 TBSP Peanut Butter, such as Crazy Richard's
- 1 package of freeze-dried apples, such as Crispy Green
- 1 TBSP Rolled Oats
- 1 Graham Cracker, broken in pieces
- Cinnamon
- Honey
Instructions
- Blend together apple yogurt and peanut butter. Place in bowl.
- Top with freeze-dried apples, rolled oats, graham cracker and honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Serve cold.
I may or may not have drizzled a few more lines of honey on top of the whole bowl after these pictures. Just saying. But when you stir together all of the amazing apple pie toppings (graham cracker crust, hello!), a little piece of fall heaven. And hey, we have power packed protein, oats, yogurt, fruit, cinnamon – and it doesn’t taste like healthy.

OOO this looks good. I like the idea of the apples in there but honestly you had me at peanut butter! I like that it is in a bowl, plus you can add like you did say graham crackers and they would soften and be so good.
