Be My Neighbor Day in Winter Park celebrates the life and legacy of Fred Rogers. “Mister Rogers” was a beloved educator who’s legacy now lives on in Daniel Tiger, seen daily on WUCF’s PBS KIDS programming in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. It’s a show my kids absolutely loves, filled with great life lessons, songs, and friends. This Be My Neighbor event will encourage children to “be good neighbors” with free family-friendly activities, crafts and entertainment. There will even be a visit from Daniel Tiger! So come for a stroll in Winter Park’s famous Central Park and join families as we become friends and neighbors on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
