It’s Wednesday night. Do you know what you’re having for dinner? Our family absolutely LOVES breakfast for dinner. Homemade pancakes, bacon and sticky syrup are welcome favorites for family breakfast night. And when we’re looking for quality breakfast mixes, we turn to Krusteaz.

Add homemade sweetness to your pancakes and waffles with this easy homemade Sweet Blueberry Lemon Topping

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Fresh Blueberries washed and drained
  • 1/2 Brown sugar
  • 1/4 TSP Grated Lemon Zest

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients in small saucepan on stove over medium low heat. Cook, smashing blueberries as desired, until sugar is dissolved and mixture is heated through.
  • Serve with your favorite breakfast or dessert

    I”m not a morning person, so cooking breakfast foods that early doesn’t happen often; I usually eat leftovers from lunch or dinner. It’s not uncommon for me to have breakfast foods for dinner, since I have the time/energy to cook at that hour.

    I enjoy having breakfast for dinner because it is easy and fast plus so delicious. I’ve made Belgian waffles with sliced strawberries, maple syrup and whipped cream on top. So yummy! 🙂

    I love all the smells that come with cooking breakfast, obviously it’s no different when it’s for dinner. but it seems much more relaxed then it does in the mornings 😉

    I like that I feel full all day eating a big breakfast for dinner, we actually do this quite often since hubby works nights and I work days.
