JCPenney Glam Ball | How to Get Red Carpet Ready #CinderellaEvent

So by the day of the Cinderella Red Carpet Premiere, you would think that I would be in freak out mode. But honestly, I knew I was in capable hands. Thanks to JCPenney, we were cordially invited to attend the JCPenney Glam Ball! Spoiled with beauty, fun and of course that sprinkling of princess fairy tale magic, there were exactly 7 steps to obtaining that perfect Cinderella Red Carpet Look. How did I get Red Carpet Ready? Check out how the JCPenney Glam Ball made me into the perfect Cinderella.

JCPenney glam ball prince

1. Be greeted by overlay handsome man in a fabulously fitting suit. Call him “My Prince.”

Good thing I didn’t have any make up on yet. I would have smeared all of the drool that was dribbling down my face. JCPenney definitely greeted us in style! A personal escort for the afternoon, My Prince was just as charming as he was regal. Even remembering my name and providing refreshments (as in drinks and food, people!), we were definitely treated as princesses!

2. Get your own Cinderella twinkle with glamor make-up treatment

To only have my makeup artist at my side everyday! There’s nothing to make you feel more girly and princess-like than having a professional do your makeup. And not only was my artist amazing and beautiful, but we shared an instant bond and connection. I felt completely transformed as I walked away from my chair. The princess feeling was definitely beginning to stick now!

3. Have your hair professionally primped for the ball

Even Cinderella had perfect hair for the ball. Surrounded by professional JCP Salon stylists, I was fortunate to get the royal hair treatment as well.

A perfect updo, inspired by a princess braid and a falling of a few cascading curls, I just LOVED how quickly and beautifully my hair turned out!

4. Match the perfect accessories to complete your look

Admitting that you are not the fashionista of the group can be difficult, especially when surrounded by beautiful accessories, all provided by JCPenney! To complete our looks, we got to work hand in hand with a JCPenney stylist to perfectly match the right Cinderella sparkle to our dresses. Purses, earrings, necklaces, rings and more, it was so difficult choosing the right accent piece.

But look at the amazing bracelet I got to take with me! Do you feel the Asian Cinderella inspiration? 🙂

5. Enjoy the atmosphere and view from the 20th floor Presidential Suite

A high tea fit for royalty, a vast view of Hollywood from our 20th floor windows, music, laughter and friends, JCPenney had really outdone themselves. I was just in awe of the scenery in front of me as they took each women and personally gave them the touches to make them feel Cinderella beautiful. I wish you could have been there with me. The JCPenney Glam Ball was a sight to see, take in and enjoy as we got the Cinderella transformation of a lifetime.

6. Put on THE custom made couture gown

With hair, makeup and accessories done, there’s only one thing left to finish my Cinderella look…my custom Lall Dass Couture Gown. The crowning jewel to my princess evening ahead, I had to say that this dress made me feel amazingly special. Stay tuned as I show you all of the details of the dress of the night!

7. Feel Inspired at the JCPenney Pre-Premiere Reception Party

The last step to getting red carpet ready? A party of course! JCPenney pulled out a red carpet of it’s own for our arrival. On the bottom level of the El Capitan Theatre surrounded by original costuming, props and inspiration from the Cinderella movie, we enjoyed an amazing Pre-Premiere Reception that had me feeling on Cloud 9!

Isn’t the atmosphere amazing? Beautiful costumes, beautiful sparkly shoe, artistry, and amazing line of Cinderella inspired girl’s clothing and toys from JCPenney! I have to get that Cinderella nightgown for my little princess!

JCPCinderellaMoment

To say that the JCPenney Glam Ball was a highlight of my trip would be an understatement. I felt like Cinderella all day long thanks to JCPenney and Disney! Be sure to follow JCPenney on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube for the latest #JCPCinderellaMoment styles, products and everything girly so you can have your own Cinderella Red Carpet moment!

Don’t forget that Disney’s Cinderella opens in theaters starting March 13th! I’m thinking that we should have another glam ball to get ready for opening night 🙂 Until then, I’m working on that perfect twirl.
