How to Have a Julius Jr Birthday at the Nickelodeon Resort #juliusjr

One birthday girl + one Julius Jr. + one Nickelodeon Hotel = a birthday party of a lifetime! How does a family celebrate a baby girl’s 2nd birthday? With a bunch of preschool fun! This weekend was the Nickelodeon Preschool Weekend Celebration, complete with our favorite monkey, Julius Jr.! And it happened to be the perfect weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, with tons of special family activities, amenities and monkey FUN.

So how did we have a Julius Jr. Birthday? Check out our 5 steps to a birthday to remember!

Nickelodeon resort room

1. Stay In a Unique Family-Friendly Suite

Looking for a great resort that is 100% kid-friendly? The Nickelodeon Suites Resort is just for your family! It’s evident the moment you step on property that Nickelodeon has your children in mind. Bright colors, your favorite Nick cartoon friends, and lots of family-friendly amenities await to make your weekend fun for everyone! Our suite was perfect for our family of four. The Spongebob kids room had adorable single beds, their own tv, and a full sized mural on the wall to greet them! A large master bedroom (with work desk!), eating and living areas, flat screen TVs, and even fridge/microwave to hold our food haul were perfect extras during our stay. Even the bathroom had lots of extra storage, 4 towel hangers and LOTS of extra towels to keep us comfortable.

2. Get Slimed Poolside

What makes a preschool weekend to remember? Slime! Only at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort can you get slimed right at the pool! A heated water park with slides, pool and splash park for the littles, this resort can definitely handle your energetic kids! And multiple times per day, a huge bucket filled with 100s of gallons of slime get dumped right on top of YOU poolside! Kids covered in green goo = one perfect picture opportunity!

3. Dance, Eat & Meet Your Favorite Preschool Friends

A Julius Jr. Preschool Weekend is not complete without a few of your kids favorite preschool friends! There were so many opportunities for pictures, high-fives and eating experiences with Nickelodeon characters, like our Bikini Bottom Breakfast! We had a fabulous birthday breakfast buffet with Spongebob and all of his friends as they danced, sang and personally greeted every table!

4. Perform on Double Dare Live

Remember the Double Dare show from your childhood? Bring in the fun, the gross and the memories with the Double Dare Live show right at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort! Watch as real families try out new games, classic games and cheer along with the live audience. I was shocked to still see the “Pick It” Nose as one of the Physical Challenge Obstacle Course favorites! Even our little man got in on the Double Dare action, winning himself a few games at the arcade. He was so proud! Our kids loves seeing the pies, the slime, and the action on stage!

Julius jr meet and greet

5. Hug Julius Jr.

Only at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort can you meet Julius Jr. live at the Nickelodeon Preschool Weekend Celebration! And not only did we hug Julius, but it was a full blown Julius Jr. Party! We got to watch episodes of Julius Jr., win prizes, dance, and go home with fun stickers and activity books for the kids. My son was wide eyed and loving his moment with Julius Jr. “Mom, I’ve seen him on T.V.!” While I couldn’t convince the birthday girl to take a picture, she was waving hi to Julius Jr. from afar. It was a monkey of a good time for the whole family, and I’m so glad Julius Jr. was a part of the Nickelodeon Preschool Weekend Celebration!

Be sure to follow Julius Jr. on Facebook.com/juliusjrandfriends and Twitter @juliusjr for the latest monkey fun! And tune into Nick Jr. everyday to catch the latest episodes with your friends!

Nickelodeon resort birthday

We had a fun and memorable 2nd birthday, thanks to Julius Jr.! It was a weekend full of laughs, smiles and family memories that really made this birthday one to remember.

How would Julius Jr. make your little one’s birthday special?

Okay, as a Spongebob fan (even though I’m 29 now) I would love to go here! I bet that families will be super excited to go here too. I would love to be slimed pool side.
