Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orange Lake Resort Review

I’m excited to tell you about my review of Holiday Inn Club Vacations! After attending the awesome Give Kids the World Blogger Bash, my family and I received the awesome opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orange Lake Resort, located at the heart of Orlando’s Theme Park Central. If you’re looking for a great resort that’s also FAMILY-friendly, I have a few reasons why Orange Lake is a perfect place for you! From Florida beach getaways to Vermont mountain getaways and everything in between (Vegas anyone?), Holiday Inn Vacation Club provides all of the relaxing, fun and family-friendly accommodations that help make your vacation stress-free so you can focus on more important things….like having a GREAT time!

Orange Lake Resort Review

We had the opportunity to have a mini-staycation at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orange Lake Resort. Just a 45 minute drive from our house and located right next to “The Mouse,” we were welcomed with VIP status as soon as we arrived! There’s 2,478 villa options on the 1,450+ acre resort. Treated like royalty, we were instantly transported to our luxury 2 bedroom villa, overlooking the popular River Island. Let’s get to the FUN in a minute and check out what our luxury villa included. You might want a hand ready to keep your jaw from dropping!

Room Tour

Our HUGE (and yes I mean HUGE) 2 bedroom villa included a full sized and equipped kitchen, huge dining area, big living room with flat screen TV, and screened porch overlooking River Island. We felt very comfy in our overnight accommodations. We couldn’t believe how much space we had to let the kids play, and let the adults spread out and relax!

The master bathroom had an amazing jacuzzi tub, big walk-in shower, dual sinks and lots of space to walk around. Can we say relaxing?! You could almost put a bedroom in our bathroom it was so large.

Let’s not forget the bedrooms! We all slept like babies in our luxury beds. The kids really enjoyed cuddling on our king sized bed 🙂

Orange Lake provides so many great family-friendly amenities. So when you’re not hitting the theme parks, there’s plenty of things to do during your downtime!

So we were steps away from River Island, home of the 1,200 foot Lazy River. My 4 year old son could not wait to cool off! With tubes available and plenty of space to splash, swim and lay, my son was in water heaven. After 2 hours of splashing and 5 trips around the Lazy River, my son couldn’t not erase the HUGE grin across his face. Even his completely “prune-y” and flushed face begged me to stay. I loved that there were some nice surprises on the lazy river to keep things interesting, including water cannons, beautiful waterfalls, and bridges that would rain water on top of us. My baby girl loved wading in the zero entry pool areas. I could keep a close eye on her as I laid in the cool water’s edge. With so much to see and do, we definitely could have stayed for a week and wouldn’t have been bored.

We were so blessed to be given this great stay-cation opportunity! If you’re heading to Orlando soon, I definitely would recommend Orange Lake as a great family-friendly place to stay.
