We are Frozen at Disney Hollywood Studios This Summer!

In case you missed all of the Disney hoopla, your favorite Disney Frozen movie has made a summer home here at Disney Hollywood Studios! There’s so many “cool” activities that your family can take advantage of all summer 2014 during the Disney Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! event! But hurry, good things melt soon! Disney Summer Fun LIVE! is available to Disney guests now through September 1, 2014. Here’s all of the FUN you can expect, sprinkled with some Disney magic!

Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome

In true noble fashion, Disney really knows how to put on a Royal Procession! Enjoy a beautiful view as your family enjoys your favorite Frozen characters, parade floats, horse drawn sleigh, snow and more as they head down Hollywood Blvd.!

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland

So many wonderful Frozen surprises await inside Wadering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland! Because as Oaken would say….”Big Summer Blowout!” There’s lots of exclusive Disney Frozen fun for the whole family inside this chilly area!

• Expansive ice skating rink: Guests can enjoy Frozen ice skating fun (just like at the end of the movie!) plus stick around for the pro ice skating demonstration…to your favorite Frozen tunes, of course!

• “Do you want to build a snowman?”: Well, now you can! Let your kids play in the REAL snow that Disney hauls in daily and build your very own snowman, ice castle and more! All tools are provided for snow building fun!

• Exclusive Frozen Sweet Treats: What’s Frozen Funland without some fun treats? Frozen Funland has everything your family needs for summer sweets with hot cocoa, Blur Raspberry Slushes in exclusive Olaf collectable cups ($9.75) and 3 new Frozen themed cupcakes ($5.50 each)!

• HUGE Collection of Frozen Merchandise: Be warned, you will be on Frozen overload! Head into the Trading Post for exclusive Disney Frozen merchandise. PLENTY of Frozen dresses, clothing for the whole family, Frozen Magic Bands, toys and more! Of course, we left with some fun goodies, including my daughter’s first stuffed Olaf!

Virtual Character Picture Ops with your Aurasma App

All around Disney Hollywood Studios, you’ll find unique picture opportunities to pose with your fave Frozen characters! Yes, the actual animated versions of the characters can join your family for a FUN photo with the FREE Aurasma app! Just download the app to your iPhone/iPad or Android device. Register, then point the open app at the designated picture stations.

Watch the magic as your Frozen friends appear before your eyes! There are many picture opportunities all throughout Disney Hollywood Studios, so be sure to capture yourself at each one!

A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration Show

Ok, seriously this was our favorite part of the Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! event. Not only are your cooling down in the Premiere Theater, but the story of Anna and Else come to life with a hilarious rendition filled with family fun!

In case you need it, there’s also the words on the screen 🙂

You’ll laugh, you’ll belt out your favorite songs at the top of your lungs, and you might even shed a tear or two when Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf end the show with a grand singing finale!

Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party

At 5:30 pm every day, the park gets “down” with the Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party! Join your friends and fellow Frozen lovers for a jamming dance party with DJ and live band and say “Hello, Summer!”

Frozen Fireworks Spectacular

It wouldn’t be Disney’s style unless your night ended with a big bang! With the new Frozen Fireworks Spectacular Show, your favorite characters join you at the end of a Frozen full day for a spectacular fireworks display and a grand finale unlike any other. Join them at the Sorcerers Hat Stage for a happily ever after!

“Take-Along Olaf” for Your Summer Vacation

Olaf is excited it’s summer too! In fact, he’s so excited that he’s buddying up with your family for an #OlafSummerVacation at Disney Hollywood Studios! Be sure to find a Disney cast member throughout the park for your family’s very own “Take-Along Olaf.” Then take pictures around the park and post to your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts with hashtag #OlafSummerVacation. You might see your picture featured throughout the day at Disney Hollywood Studios! If it’s extra awesome, you may see your family’s Olaf picture on screen during the nightly fireworks show! (We saw ours on the big screen!)
